Yep it is. Roach was good, but the questions could have been a million times better. Without any thought at all, they could have asked:
  • Did he regret having to help out in the ruck for a few years and being denied potentially 150-200 extra goals in his career?
  • How much importance did he put on kicking accurately as a key forward?
  • How much effort was ever put into making it work with him and Taylor?
  • Was there a moment after 1982 when they realised the club was going off the rails in the spending war?
That would of course require effort and research.
Great questions but more suited to an Open Mike style interview.

Lawrence mooney is not funny they should bring kb back on

There is no easier job in the country than to be a comedian. You have a stranglehold on seemingly every television channel, and it's the same 10-12 people on every channel that are constantly regurgitated (and that's the correct term, as most make you want to vomit). The fact that so many if not all are miles past their use by date speaks volumes for how incestuous it is.

Would love to know how many of these "comedians" are under 60. Wouldn't be many.

I just think with his own show, being on HYBPA and hosting the Logies and shit he’s a bit over this routine. His talk show I didn’t actually mind when he had guests like Russell Crowe and Ian Botham on. Ripping interviews
You’re spot on Pistol, I’m thinking his talk show, which, let’s be honest, flopped, has had an affect on him and bleeds into his front bar performances.

Once you're in, you're "in".
They're are thousands of comedians who don't get that opportunity. Weirdly enough, Mooney was on RRR at midnight Saturday night flogging his new comedy festival show. Sounds like a dress up show. Certainly not my thing.

didn’t mind Deemie last night. He has the necessary level of enthusiasm to share stories and engage in the banter. As well as some ripper highlights packages
Ditto, I could listen to Dermie's stories for hours. Just don't put him anywhere near a special comments microphone.

Loved his drive by on Dunstall when he said Billy Duckworth was a much better bloke.

Don't read too much into that, Dunstall and Brereton are good mates, they just snipe each other for the fun of it.

Dermie is the style of guest the show is built for and thrives on.

Big character
Iconic player
Huge highlights package

Players who tick those boxes always makes a good episode

Also helps that Dermie's favourite subject is himself.
