Just watched Ben on Fallon, his shoe deal with Nike is worth 20 Million the third biggest rookie shoe deal ever.
Blake Griffin has the 10th biggest currently at 30 million.
I'm confused. Is Blakes tenth biggest of all non rookies? Also, need to know what the per year breakdown is to have any true idea.

Did simmons memtion that it is 20 mill?? rare that players disclose sponsor money
Fallon said "you just signed a 20 Million dollar contract with Nike" which Ben acknowledged .

Fallon also noted something impressive about Simmons' Nike contract.
"Now you have more millions than years of your life," the comedian said

Blake has the 10th best shoe deal in the NBA at the moment but he is getting ripped off on his.
Blake is getting 6 million a year Ben 4 million, Wiggins is on 2.4 Million a year from Adidas.

I can't imagine that a school year book has barely any more validity given the question of age stems from the same problem (lack of birth certificate/identification papers for refugees)

Surely NBA teams could use a somewhat more precise method to figure out his age (e.g. xray)

There would be no way to bone age someone to determine whether they were 19 or 24.

Doing a bone age when he first arrived in Australia would have been useful although when his first 5? Years were spent undernourished would make it difficult - Normal values wouldn't apply.

Seems ludicrous that we couldn't confirm at least his presumed age at time of arrival to Australia and have a clearly documented path since then

I get how Thon's age could get muddled coming from Africa to Australia, but how does his age get muddled going from Perth to Sydney? How would he be allowed to attend year 9 (or whatever it's supposed to be) in Sydney after attending year 12 in Perth?

I think the Bucks are a great result for Thon. Pick 10 might be a bit of a reach, and there's a risk of added pressure, but this is a team that has shown they are willing to do the unconventional with players, and as they have already said - in Giannis they have the perfect model of what type of approach they might take with developing Thon's game... best case scenario he fits perfectly into what could become an extremely talented and versatile lineup.
