Because Shaq was the most dominant player in the NBA… despite his flaws he wasn’t running away in the big moments. What an awful analogy from him.
They also protected Ben for 5 years or whatever it was, he repaid them by refusing to work on his game.

Because he quit, that’s the reason.
Refusing to take a shot, passing up open dunks. Once again he refused to step up. He was protected by the org for years. If he wasn’t going to work on his game after being coddled what more could they try to do?
He wants all the benefits of being a ‘superstar athlete’ without any of the draw backs.

Because a max player can’t play 1 half of the ball.
He doesn’t care about improving his game he has shown that by not improving on offence at all after all these years.
He has shown it by constantly dogging basketball Australia which could have really helped him
He has shown it by refusing to play this year and he only shown up when he was going to lose money, only spoken to people in the org when he was going to lose money.
This is despite the org releasing the money they fined him out of good faith and he still won’t show any back.

Butler shoots 20% from 3 for Miami. Triple single Draymond can't shoot or put up a floater.
Not everyone can be lebron.
National team basketball is irrelevant and sitting currently similar.
I am not just talking about 3 point shooting, I am talking about his unwillingness to even attack the paint because he is scared to get fouled.
Simmons is earning 11mil more per year compared to Draymond and on top of that I would say he is very much the exception. He is in one of the only situations I would say where he can excel like he does.
Lastly no one thinks he needs to be Lebron just stop that straw man
LeBron couldn’t shoot the 3 when he came into the league, but he worked his ass off to make it a threat in his game.
For someone who was under LBJ’s wing and annointed as the next king, Ben sure doesn’t have the same work ethic or dare to dream.
Speaking of which, haven’t really seen LeBron and BS together in any meaningful capacity in quite some time.
