Whatever you blokes do, don't get rid of Pagan. He was the difference between the teams. Not just on the night, but because of the game-plan he's put in place. Because of him and his preparation, your players won the third quarter, and the game.

We are not quite so advanced in our plan. Pretty happy with what I saw from our blokes though. Two middling teams playing above themselves would be how I'd describe it, at this early stage.

He did look injured initially, took him a while to get up, but it was Notting who sustained the injury. Good courage shown by Murph.

I reckon it was the Ratten/Bradley influence moreso than Pagan himself. Ever since they came onboard the coaching has been better. Especially in the midfield.

The midfield is definitely better (but I had my doubts during the 2nd quarter!), but isn't Ratten coaching the forwards? Isn't Libba responsible for the midfielders? In any case they're doing a much better job this year, the in-close work they showed against the Roos was really impressive.

They weren't so sharp this week, but they persisted and came back when needed.
