Ballsy move by Geelol.

Not content with a 53pt turnaround to lose a GF, they give away 3x 1st rounders for a forward.

Now, they have decided to ignore recent history and trade their 1st round pick from 2021 to Richmond, just to get involved this year.

Didn't they take notice of what happened to Tex's Power Rangers and the Big Big Sound after their GF defeats?

What pick are the Pussies actually giving away?

Get in here and talk up your shittruck
Are we supposed to be upset that we just landed the number one wingman in this years' draft? Sitting pretty next year with 3x 2nd rounders where Wellsy always knocks it out of the park. I'd be more concerned with your bottom 4 club and its current direction... 🤣

Look at the fear..

There's one side Geelol doesn't want to play in finals.

I know it. You know it. Scott knows it. Danger knows it.

The fear is real, we can all see it.

Wells, master drafter without peer. Strategy.... if Holmes is still available come pick 20, trade next years first rounder (which will be a s**t number somewhere in the 20's) and swoop. If Holmes not available, sit back and pick when it's our turn as planned.... master stroke? Who's dumb enough to trade 20 this year for 20-something next year? Tuggers

You just traded out of a good draft just when your ancient playing list will need a rebuild, genius.

We will need some fresh legs for our fourpeat.

is there a bigger bogie club in finals anywhere else in the history of sport, what is it now 11/2 over the last 112 years?

Biggest myth in football. Stephen Wells became the Handbagger's head recruiter in 1994 and since then here's who he's drafted with top 20 picks:

9
Michael Brown
Fitzroy (reserves)
6Hawthorn (reserves)
10Western U18

Selwood, Taylor, Bartel, Kelly & Corey are wins. Congratulations, that's 5/28 top twenty picks your "master" recruiter has nailed. :roflv1:

Thing is, we're reigning Premiers.

So the pick we get next year from Geelong simply 100% CANNOT be any worse than our pick this year.

It can only be the same, or improve.

And Geelol think they're the ones playing 3D chess.

Its refreshing that a club can achieve success without having to resort to using priority picks or brown paper bags. Get around us.
