I don't mind cherry picks but if you are picking weak oppo to get back into it after losing the last 3 of 4 before his latest fight then after his latest fight there needs to be more activity IMO. There is no benefit to fighting a can every 6 months or so for a couple of years before you step up.
Fight a bunch of them but fight them close together and step back up within 12 months.

This is it, he got away with his walk down Mexican style against the B tier fighters but once he went up to the elite it hasn't worked for him.
