I wouldn't say heartless, he hit trouble against Povetkin and Klit and came through it. Amazing win by Ruiz though, the cat is officially amongst the pigeons.

He quit. Simple as that. He deliberately spat his mouthguard out and looked to his corner to try get them to throw in the towl.

Compare that to the heart shown in Fury vs Wilder and Wilder vs Ortiz.

He got exposed.

One of the most unbelievable moments in recent boxing history. Changes everything about the heavyweights.

That round three though... One of the best rounds in history.

Joshua carrying too much muscle and looked gassed by R4.

Also has a chin with more glass in it it than Amir Khan’s.

Not sure thats fair it is Heavyweight after all 250+ pound guys throwing hooks to the head.
To be honest he looked like he never got rid of the cobwebs from the first knock down in the 3rd for the rest of the fight.
Very suspect chin he's got.

He didnt know what was going on , his brain was rattled , had nothing to do with heart . Could be damaged the rest of his life .

In a way it sucks though as even if we get AJ vs Wilder it won’t be the same.
Meh. I hate the obsession with being undefeated. If AJ beats Ruiz in the rematch, and goes on to beat Whyte next April, then Wilder-AJ will still be a good fight.

Poms always pump up their own like they're the biggest things since Ali. David Haye etc. Just look at all these footballers that amount to * all like Lallana and on the world stage as in INTERNATIONAL tournaments Sturridge and Sterling. There's a few more that according to the English Press that were going to be the next Lio Messi's of the world:tearsofjoy:

Just watched the GGG v Rolls replay. Impressive knockout by GGG but he looked every bit of 37 in that fight, definitely lost a bit of his zip, and not sure if he'll manage to square the ledger against Canelo if they go around again.

GGG definitely wasn't at his best, but once again it showed just how much dynamite he's carrying in both hands, even at his age.

It's incredible how much power he generated in that short left hook over the top that rocked Rolls.

Yeah he's always had ridiculously heavy hands. That hook over the top of Rolls looked ordinary as * but Rolls was done after he copped it.

He needs to try clip Canelo with one of those shots. I noticed Golovkin was using more variety throughout this fight. Perhaps he plans on trying to clip Canelo with a temple shot, or an unorthodox punch like the one that clipped Rolls, which was a similar punch to what he KO'd Rubio with. Golovkin isn't going to beat Canelo on points, so he is going to have to knock him out. He will probably have to hit him with a shot he doesn't see coming.

GGG just doesn't match up well with Canelo IMO because he's similar to Gennady in that he can take a lot of punishment but he's a much better counterpuncher. Very difficult as it is to knock Canelo out and he makes you pay for it in points if you can't. Wish they would have had the first fight a few years earlier when Gennady still had zip, but there's a reason Canelo waited until 2017. GGG was ******* terrifying in 2012-2015, it's no wonder he's been ducked as many times as he has.
