I can't remember Weidman taking much damage either, but watching his confidence in trading strikes with Silva in both fights leads me to believe he has a very good chin. I'm hoping Belfort can test it as Vitor's had a habit in the past of breaking in fights when things haven't gone his way.

Yeah, I'm reading all of this and I had no idea it happen.

Crazy stuff. He is finished. That article reads
The light heavyweight fighter was charged with two counts of attempted murder, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, and obstruction without violence."

Dana now telling people that Rousey. If that is the case she is an even worse person then I then I thought. What next, Palhares as grappling/BJJ coach? Maybe she can destroy some ACL's before her daily hobby of drowning of kittens.

Probably just Dana's typical hyperbole but any training partner would be instructed not to go 100% so if she goes to hard on them that lacks class to me.

Arguably Ronda's biggest test but I can see her winning
Probably, but just as a judoka can nullify BJJ exponents, strong wrestlers can also nullify judo practitioners. Good thing for Ronda is that she left judo before the rules changed to stop leg attacks which will be of advantage to her.

Went to the AFC last night, was good fun, plenty of exciting stoushes, some tough dudes for sure. A few criticisms:

- The tales of the tape didn't show the fighter's weight for some reason, and the only time you found it out was from the ring announcer. It had height, reach, age and record but not weight.
- The screens also had the time clock cut off so you didn't know how long left in the round
- They stuffed up the intro music more than once for some of the fighters
- The bloke who fought in his budgie smugglers needs to put some shorts on

Other than that was good stuff, Mark Hunt was there, he is a big big dude.

Can anyone see Cummins with the upset of the decade

I think Daniel will walk straight through him.

Really looking forward to hopefully seeing Rory put himself within reach of the title with a victory.

Expecting Rousey to walk away with the belt, but stylistically it should make for good viewing. I wonder if Sara will use her grappling defensively, early on and perhaps test Ronda's striking? Still think Ronda will be too slick.

Got TKO'd in the first round. Love his jab but he didn't have too much else. Sounds weird but Wonderboys body type seemed a bad match up for him, on top of that Wonderboy was a lot more slick with his strikes. Overall he was just out of his depth.. Needs someone a bit easier for his next matchup.

Maia started strong in the first but faded in the 2nd... Telegraphing his takedowns. Rory grabs the win but he seems to lack power to finish these guys.

Herb Dean has been very inconsistent recently. Compare the stoppages in the last two UFC main events he's refereed with the Waldburger massacre from earlier today.

They seem to always have issues with the audio production, last card they kept having issues with ring girls still being in the ring for 30 seconds longer than they should have been meaning the fighters had to wait each round... In fairness it wasnt all bad....

Dean Purdon wears the smugglers, dude is tough as nails but with that rig he should cover up a bit. Usually does something funny during the walkout too? How were the actual fights?
