Hopefully Sexyama has some decent cardio at 170. Like everyone else, I still can't believe how the UFC keep throwing him to the wolves. Hopefully Sexyama KO's Shields because he's definitely got the power.

You guys seen this? Tank Abbott fighting Scott Ferrozzo backyard style! Lols a plenty
That was worse than Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler. Did LOL at Ferrozzo trash talking while being dry humped though.

That was pretty sad to watch to be honest. Obviously had no yellow card for stalling in this fight! :D But yeah the sledging was funny "I can't be hurt....*punch*...NOOO!.....*punch*....NOOOO!":D

Watching one of the fights before the Fedor one right now and the commentator who isn't Jeremy Horn is absolutely clueless about the ground game. A fighter was working for an arm triangle choke and he says can he get the rear naked choke. Then there was a takedown into side control which he follows up with can he get the rear naked choke.

Actually, he doesn't have any idea about MMA at all. He can't even pronounce Emelianenko.

Fedor won that fight easy by decision. Monson kept shooting in for the takedown and couldn't get it. Fedor didn't want anything to do with the ground game, kept it standing blasting Monson with leg kicks and dropping him with punches. Funny that when he dropped Monson he was very cautious compared to how aggressive he was when he fought Werdum.

That commentator is even more of an idiot than I thought. He continually pronounced both Fedor and Emelianenko wrong. You would think he'd at least know how to say the name of one of the fighters in the main event who he kept saying is the best ever Mixed Martial Artist.

Alvarez loses his Bellator lightweight title in a four round absolute brutal war to Chandler. Was an awesome fight.
Have just watched that fight, was indeed awesome. Bellator put the whole fight on youtube, everyone should check it out.

Fedor was never going to lose to Monson, completely pointless fight. We always say anything can happen in MMA but there really was no conceivable way for him to lose that fight.

That was an AWESOME fight.

Ebbed and Flowed, surprising ending, real war and a great argument for more five round fights
Agreed, along with Shogun v Hendo. Imagine if that only went for three rounds, Hendo wins 30-27 & looked to have dominated, give it an extra two rounds & it becomes one of the best fights I've seen.

Reminds me of how some great Boxing matches play out. At first it seems like one guy is completely dominant, but then the other guy shifts gears and the fight becomes more interesting. A lot of fights are effectively over by the middle of the second because one guy has been on top. Stretching it out allows for some greater battles.

Won't stop guys finishing either, because if someone is going to get knocked out it doesn't matter what round

Sick finish from Ronda Rousey.

Mauro Renallo doing a hilarious interview with Joe Rogan and Ronda Rousey. Rogan's Mauro impression is great and then Mauro rambles a question to Rousey and she's like WTF?

9pm our time is it? I'll watch it, (presuming I find a stream) but I just don't want to see Fedor get beat down again, I'd love to see another ko victory for old time's sake! :thumbsu:
I know hindsight and whatnot, but do you know who Jeff Monson is? I don't think any avid MMA watcher would have even considered the possibility of him beating down Fedor, no matter his recent fall from grace.

As alluded to earlier, was a real 'nothing' fight just to get Fedor back on the win list. After the wars of Chandler/Alvarez and Rua/Henderson, that main event was a bit farcical.

G-Sot vs Gomi has been announced for the Japan card in what is likely a loser leaves town fight. Hope George can pull off a win, but wouldn't be surprised to see him get caught again.

Shit, that's still a tough fight for Sots, generally guys don't last after losing 3 in a row, he might be fighting on the next AFC card!
