Thanks for that Nickos66. That did look like he held it a bit longer than he should have again.
Apparently it was quite legit its pretty sad that he is prob one of the best in the world to do that to fitch, I wonder when the UFC change there mind and bring him in

as for the sponsorship dead listen to Sonnens podcast with Rashad Evens really puts the deal into perpective, these sponsorships were on the way out anyway as the sponsors really were not getting anything for there dollar the fighters will have to promote the brands outside the cage so its not like they are banned from picking them up.

I don't think they do. The guys supremely talented, but is an "accident" waiting to happen. The Fitch one wasn't as bad as previous leg locks he's held on to for too long, but it's a recurring theme that I doubt the UFC want anything to do with again.

Lesson: don't give someone a fight with a contender just because their surname is Diaz.

EG 1: Dos Anjos v Diaz

EG 2: Soon to come in January.

If you lack respect for everything - especially your opponent (see Diaz weight and so on), you shouldn't be rewarded.

Diaz is such a good fight for Silva. Such a great mix of soft opponent and something you can sell and pretend it's good.
True. Which is why I hate it.

A Diazabolic choice to reward Nick just so they can make money and continue to do so without testing Silva.

And yet it makes perfect sense from a $ point of view.

And yet Diaz will bitch and moan for the next 6 weeks.

I'm just in it to see Diaz get his face kicked off. :)

Does everyone here watch MMA cards live? I try to watch them slightly delayed when possible so I can catch up to the live action towards the end of the card. Made the mistake of watching Sunday's card live and the pacing was brutal. I can forgive them for the prelims as they had a fight cancelled late but the main card went 30-40 minutes over with 2 first round finishes.

You bring up a good point, I have noticed that a lot lately. Although ko's are great it makes for a long day.

Class action complaint against Zuffa/UFC. I don't have much of an idea about the law relating to any of this. It's funny seeing the amount of people commenting on MMA sites as if they're experts in the field.

Had a quick look through it. I found this funny.
The image has been edited to modify the offensive language appearing in the first line of the original text, as have various quotations from Dana White throughout this Complaint.

yeah I read up a bit got no clue but guessing there is some case there, the AKA boys have been after Zuffa for awhile so was not surprised when I saw it. Tj and Jeff of Sherdog even said that there has been whispers this year of Zuffa offloading the UFC. make it very interesting my guess it will be like the Essendon Drug saga and still be going in ten years

Pretty sure Zuffa is owned by Dana White and the Fertitta brothers. I can only go from my experiences in court...The UFC has more money therefor the UFC wins...;)

Anybody giving CB Dollaway a chance tomorrow. My expectations is that Machida finishes him in the 2nd or 3rd.
I think that we all know my opinion on that :D

CB has come a long way, but this is a huge step up for him. Machida is a difficult striker that frustrates wrestlers who need to get close to him. Being a counter striker, he loves guys who get frustrated and rush in. Ask Bader.

CB might have the best chance tonight. The pre fight show was just saying Machida had 4kg to cut yesterday morning. That will play a part the longer this fight goes.

Where did you hear that? Pretty sure it's Rampage.
Yep sorry I stand corrected was meant to say Rampage as I read it this morning.
Was reading about Brock losing weight for possible UFC return once his WWE contract expired, and when they said there was a major announcement I had him in my head
In other words to me, Rampage is not a Major announcement ha ha
