Real shame that Sotiropoulos is out of the Japan card, although for me there are some positives. I want to see Takanori Gomi win in Japan, but I wanted to see Gsot win more. So maybe now I get to see both of them win their next fights.

I've heard news that after the Brazil series of TUF they will be doing the Ashes TUF series. Surely George is the only aussie candidate to coach the aussie side, I wonder what british fighter they'd match him against. Though it is possible that they use non-aussie/british fighters to coach.

The fix is in. Bisping was absolutely robbed.
No he wasn't. First round could have gone either way.

What's the issue between Jones & Evans?

I know they used to train together & at one time said they would never fight then as soon as Jones won the title Evans wanted to fight him.

Is that the origin?
From what I've read and heard it comes from both of them initially saying that they would never fight each other then Jones was on some show and said he would fight Evans if the UFC wanted it. Jones didn't tell Evans before hand so Evans felt stupid telling everyone that they wouldn't fight only to have Jones on TV change his tune.

Disagree that first round Sonnen looked like he took a page out of Mayhem Millers striking Michael Bisping for dummies. Most ineffective shit I've ever seen. He was stumbling all over the place flailing his arms, Bisping wasn't even flinching.

Rashad was supposed to fight Shogun for the title. After Jon Jones’ victory over Bader, the UFC announced that Rashad was injured and that Jones would now fight for the title.

Both Rashad and Jones were both on the same team, team Jackson, which was considered a ‘brotherhood’, and you wouldn’t fight another Jackson member. After Jones beat Shogun at UFC 128, Rashad was filthy. Here is the video link with his interview with Ariel Helwani http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eh6SoMYav1Q

Rashad left Jacksons and has not like Jones ever since. They have gone from mates to enemy’s. Jones took Rashads opportunity to fight for the belt, and Rashad seems a little dirty on everyone involved

Rashad and Jones made a pact in which they said they'd never fight. Jones broke it when in interviews he said he would fight Rashad. Rashad also a bit dirty on Greg Jackson/Winklejon cos he felt they weren't loyal to him since Rashad was one of the originals (along with Jardine, Diego Sanchez, Nate Marquart, Joe Stevenson) at Team Jackson's in Albuquerque which made the team what it was.

Personally i hope Rashad beats Jones' smug ass! Even from the broadcast today the guy is a douche. Has certainly changed since he won the title and as good as he is, the guy has figjam written all over him.

The thing is Jones strikes me as a real "company" guy, happy to do whatever the UFC (Dana) wants. Dana has always been outspoken about teammates not wanting to fight each other and how it's bullshit, fair enough too. They're probably the two best LHWs, if they weren't going to fight now it would be ridiculous.

I'm also worried if Machida goes down to MW and tears it up and becomes number 1 contender, he won't be fighting his mate Silva, would love to see that too!

Just went on to ticketek. UFC Kampmann vs Alves in Sydney in March looks like it will barely sell half the tickets. You can still buy 6 tickets in a line in the Diamond section.

Serves Dana right. You cant dish up a shit card and expect aussies to pay $400.

Yeah exactly. When you consider some of the names on the previous cards and then this one, just not even close. I'm sure they'll fill the stadium with comp tickets and whatever but still, bit of a wakeup call i'd reckon.
