I thought something may have been wrong when the scores were read indicating a split decision win for Johnson then Buffer announced it as a majority decision win.

Not on tv, is it? Probably download it later. Expected result for Souza against a late replacement with an average record. Some guy on the prelims apparently has neo-nazi tattoos and is a convicted sex offender.

Just Youtubed the Rousey v Tate fight. Man, she's a freak. Awesome, awesome stuff.

But, seriously... The ref??? What a ****ing moron. How can he have been standing over, staring at that arm bent, dangling that way and not have called the match over.

Good fight ending in another awesome armbar finish by Rousey. Ref looked like he would have just stood there watching for the tap for as long as it took. Tate finally tapped when Rousey started bending it back towards her own leg and only then does he step in. Crazy thing is I've seen plenty of people on MMA sites say the ref did a good job. Obviously Tate should have tapped but the ref should have stopped it sooner too.

Amazing that this fight was longer than the other 7 combined for Rousey and it still didn't get out of the first round.

Thought the female fights on the card far outclassed the blokes....the Kaufman vs Davis fight on the prelims was a blood riddled war. Crimson flowing from about 30 seconds in with both lasses swinging for the fences, busted noses, etc. Kaufman now to take on Rousey. Don't think she stands a chance but Rousey didn't look like she could take a punch so took it down to the ground a.s.a.p. and Kaufman has some heavy hands.

Watched Strikeforce for the first time in a long while last night only because of the main event and it delivered. Ronda Rousey is a star.

Frankie gets his re-match with Henderson around July according to Dana… And Alfy ;)

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this, but Roy Nelson has said that he will drop to 205 if he gets 100,000 likes on his Facebook page. If heavy weights can’t knock him out, he is going to be a force at 205!

You would think that Pettis would get the winner of Miller/Diaz for next contender, and they might even fight on the same card as Henderson and Frankie. If Frankie gets injured, the other might get their shot. Diaz says that he doesnt want to fight frankie.

If Pettis got Miller, he would get a difficult match up for him. If he got through him I'd be impressed.

I can't actually see Nelson dropping all that weight for 205. He'll come up with an excuse to get out of it. Needs another 40k likes I'm pretty sure.

Nelson weighed in at 247 or 246 in his fight v Werdum, I'm not sure if that was with anything cut, but you would assume that it wasnt as he was 20 pounds under the limit.

Most fighters can cut 20 pounds in the heavier divisions, even Alves weighed 197 pounds the night before his fight at 170, if the pictures he released are true? Remember that Belfort made the 185, then was 209 before the fight with Rumble Johnson.

Nelson could lose 25 pounds or 11kg pretty easily you would have to think, and then the rest?

Intrigued to see if Nelson moves to 205 and how it effects his game. With that chin (or fewer of them), he can take pretty much anything that division has to offer from a striking standpoint. His cardio can only improve, but he loses whatever advantage that the belly gives him on the ground or against the cage.

I remember watching the Ultimate Fighter and there was nothing the guys could do to prepare for it...the all encompassing, smothering, super gut.

I don't think Frankie should get an immediate rematch. I'd love to see Pettis v Bendo, or even Nate Diaz. I'd love to see him take one 3 rd fight and win convincingly before getting another crack. Or alternatively dropping down to 145.

He had to give re-matches to everyone he fought for the title against and lost a very close decision to the new champ in the fight of the night. How Pettis, Diaz or anyone else is more deserving of a shot doesn't make sense to me.

Went to his page on FB only 7.5k away from the 100k mark & went up by about 20-30 in the last 10 minutes. Probably intends to drop anyway just a great way to get some attention & maybe some sponsor dollars too.

Subway anyone?

Big Country has been beaten up pretty badly over the last couple of years but I don't think you can put his chin in the upper echelon just yet. He has been knocked out before, something Henderson, Anderson, Cote and Penn have managed to avoid so far. And names like Hunt, Big Nog and Leben obviously can't be questioned despite having been knocked out in recent years.

That being said, I'm very interested to see how he goes at 205. Not sure he'll make any waves, but he'll provide tough fights for pretty much everyone.

Roy Nelson only said that he will try to drop to 205. He will try to if he gets 100k more likes from when he tweeted it, not 100k likes. Not sure what the starting figure was but the mark will probably be reached in time anyway.

Also, amazingly it's being reported that Miesha Tate didn't break her arm.

No break, but needs a MRI to scan for more damage. Tate has an indefinite suspension pending further medicals. Id say it was just ligaments, which is a bad as a break.
