Ufc 220: DC vs Volkan it looks like.

LHW is dead if he gets the shot. Is Gus injured?
He's disposed of three top 10 guys in his three fights, two of which were violent KO's. He's big, he hits hard and while I don't see him being a real threat to DC it's about the best fight they can make while Jones goes through more legal issues and Gus continues to sit on the shelf. You're right that the weight class definitely needs an influx of talent as it's as thin as I can remember it being. Why they let a young talent like Krylov or an established vet like Bader go to other orgs is beyond me.

covington is a bitch

anyone else think dan kelly was robbed theo did **** all but run and throw kicks that did nothing kelly had the take downs and had octagon control
Kelly was unlucky with that rear-naked-choke.....thought he was gonna pinch the result there. But for 3 rounds Theo set the pace, landed more strikes and had majority control of the fight.

No real surprise in him getting the decision.

The only bad results I saw were Matthews getting the win and one of the judges scoring the fight for Rawlings. I was fine with the Kelly decision, though disappointed for him.

I kinda thought the same. He pushed forward and initiated contact for 3 rounds while the model danced around him and threw aesthetically appealing limp kicks to maintain some distance.

What was with the 30-28 from one judge and 30-26 from another?!

30 for 30 have done a great podcast the birth of the UFC. Well worth a listen, very entertaining.

I knew some of it but there are some great insights from the fighters in the very first event.
Do they have a podcast? I haven't seen them all but they do some great docos. I'm sure their podcast would reach a similar level.

my man Lance is back on Hex, Friday night on Foxsports for those who want to support local MMA

sitting 5 and 0 with 5 finishes taking on a bloke who has won 18 fights 16 by stoppage so should be a good one. Looks like the are the last fight before the 3 title fights

Adesanya and Crute both look like great prospects who could be in the UFC before too long and I was super impressed with Ettia in his last fight. Can definitely recommend checking out the Hex shows for anyone who hasn't.

Richard Lockett. Just weighed in at 58.5kgs
That puts him between flyweight and bantamweight if I'm not mistaken. Is this a catchweight fight? If so, am I right in assuming he normally fights at flyweight? Either way, hope he does well and you get a chance to watch.

I remember you've posted about training BJJ before, is that his background? What can we expect to see from him as first time viewers?
