To bad he'll be gone after this fight to serve his mandatory military service in South Korea :(
The good news is that he should come back at the prime of his career at 28-29. Jung had to do the same thing and he didn't miss a beat coming back and KOing Bermudez, so hopefully Choi can do the same.

None of this is good news lol Jung didn't fight for 3 and a half years and now hasn't fought in 12 months. Although the military is 2 years, he will be out a bit longer than that and I can't see an argument for it benefiting his career.

Surely they should be allowed to do it later in life, considering Jung just got stationed in an office.

Yeah, it sucks. Just trying to find a silver lining.

Is he actually due to do service right after this fight? I heard he still had 12 months

Although at the rate that he has been fighting (once a year), I guess this is his last fight

For me FOTY is between Alvarez vs Gaethje and Yancy vs Cowboy. The Elkins fight was more the comeback of the year. Watching the highlights on the tweet, I forgot Johnson nearly finished him twice...That might be a close second place.

My vote, Alvarez and Gaethje

Good news. Could potentially see Smith replacing Rogan when he eventually gives it away.
I've always thought Smith was a bit of a cretin. Especially at weigh-ins...looks and dresses like a dud. Was kinda happy that he was no longer with Bellator, but now he's joining the UFC lol.
Rogan is way better as an announcer/commentator imo. Hoping Rogan sticks around for quite a bit longer.

Never watched a bellator weigh-in and couldn't care what he wears. I think he is quite media savvy and he is obviously very knowledgeable. He is atleast a good stop gap until the likes of Cruz, Cormier and Felder etc. become more polished behind the mic.

Rogan has spoken about almost stepping away when his last contract was up. I don't think he sticks around much longer. His podcast is killing it and he still seems fairly focussed on his stand-up. He could still do fight companion podcasts if he still wants to satisfy his MMA urge.

Still rate him the best colour commentator but he isn't without his faults. He can tend to get sidetracked during his commentary and can focus too much on irrelevant details.

Rumours of Tony vs Khabib April 7 in New York

As much as I want to see Tony get a shot at unifying first, Tony vs Khabib is the most interesting UFC match-up IMO.

Conor to get stripped before this fight and it will be marketed as the real title bout
