Yeah, that's balls. Hate to see it, but on the other side of the coin - he knew the risks involved and still decided to smoke it. He's an idiot for letting himself be picked up by such a nonsensical rule.

On another note, why are people still talking about this?: http://espn.go.com/extra/hot?id=9269761

Although I have to admit I did lol at this:
Couture took Toney down in the first 17 seconds of the fight. Toney's "takedown defense" remains hard to describe. I've seen people move faster after spilling coffee on their lap. Actually, I remember thinking Toney was barely able to keep his balance the day before while he took his shoes off at the weigh-in.

I hope Rockhold destroys Belfort so badly. It's a joke how someone who's tested positive for steroids in the past is allowed to inject themselves with synthetic testosterone.

The only person outside of Alistar Overeem that Vitor has lost to who hasnt been a UFC champion. As much as I want to tip Rockhold, that's just too big of a stat to overlook.

For the record, Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, Dan Henderson, Tito, Chuck and Randy are the guys who have beaten him.

TRT or no, i'm an old school Vitor fan, hoping he steamrolls Rockhold.

Gauging by his physique - the TRT's looking the goods for him though, bloody hell!
That's the thing with Vitor, it's a clear abuse of TRT and related to steroid use. I think that Vitor will destroy almost everyone, just not the champions of 185/205, but I hope that Luke wins.

Turned out to be a good stat. :(

I saw another stat that I was hoping was a good sign for Rockhold. Clearly it wasn't.

Belfort's only career defeats have come to fighters who have won a tournament championship or held an undisputed championship in the UFC, Pride or Strikeforce.

Despite how I feel about the whole TRT thing, it was a really impressive win for Belfort. His combination of speed and power plus killer instinct when he has someone hurt is scary.

Vitor was a little bit of a wanker to the MMAjunkie (john i think) reporter when he asked him about TRT in the post fight presser. He asked the crowd to beat him up, to which the journalist seem to cheer. Pretty poor form.

Luke was all class about it. I'm a fan of Rockhold, I hope that he bounces back soon, he's good for the sport.

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when Belfort has a fight in the US. Keith Kizer has said that he doesn't think the NSAC would grant Belfort a TRT exemption. It would be awesome if Belfort agreed to fight without it because then the whole thing with him would look very stupid.

Renan Barao's out of the UFC 161 Main event.

I can't see Vitor ever fighting in Vegas again. Anderson vs Vitor II would be epic in Brazil anyway, it's probably the best crowd atmosphere venue for the fight.

No way the UFC would have Vitor fight for the title if he wouldn't be willing to defend it in Vegas though. Or if they did then it goes to show that Dana's announcement of the crack down on TRT was all for show. If Weidman beats Anderson then this issue's a moot point.

I don't know if anywhere else in the US would be very willing to grant him an exemption either. I'd be really disappointed if the UFC let him fight solely in Brazil because none of the other top Brazilian fighters do, so it'd be pretty clear that they're keeping him there to allow the joke to continue.

Shit yeah, would be awesome, though if Vitor won it would probably be with an asterix.

Has anyone gone to the cinemas to watch a UFC PPV? Was considering doing it for the Cain v Bigfoot fight, I would have to smuggle in some beers though!

Finally found a torrent for the Fuel prelims and can now come safely in here. First off, the Brazillian crowd is great. Incredibly loud from the very first fight on the undercard.

Martins/Larsen was an absolute brawl, what chins on them both. Best fight of the night and the opening fight to boot.

Maldonado nut shot was brutal, one of the worst I've seen. Maldonado recovered and used his superior cardio and boxing skills to beat up on Hollow in R2 and R3.

Really nice sub from Tibau, so explosive.

Vitor's KO, well that was just beautiful. Dude is a beast. Jacare looked great as well.
