Why is Lyon actually known as GOAT? It must be a friendly joke nickname. There is no way he would be in the top 5 Australian spinners of all time.

Can't believe there isn't a thread for Lyon on the front page. Looking for one to bump, this seemed most appropriate.

He has rocketed up the list to 8th highest wicket taker of all time. Included down to Starc as he's the next highest still active player. Barring disaster he could pass Walsh this summer.
