But homosexuality is a sin, oh the godly ****s :$
Yep. It's almost as if homosexuals choose to be that way just to piss God off. But then, apparently homosexuality is curable, so who knows? God trolling himself by hating homosexuality and creating a small percentage of them homosexual.

I guess he'll get his jollies off watching all the LGBT folk sizzle in the eternal pits of hell. God is always after blood, and as part of his sick and twisted game, he created people with differences - some of which he approved, others not.

God needs his pound of flesh and there's an abundance of subjects for which he can choose. In fact, God has created a whole smorgasbord of sinners to feast his almost unquenchable thirst for blood upon. He's a true psychopath.

morals/ethics, you do not get morals from a higher authority be they man made or Deity derived and certainly not from such an abhorrent book as the bible IMO, they come from an evolved emotional connection to all things living and the environment, it is called empathy.

IMO- man is the only one who has deemed there is morality/ethics in the known universe, the rest living and non living just exist, there is no such thing as morality/ethics to everything else in the known universe.

if the human race was to be wiped off the planet tomorrow would morality, right and wrong and ethics still exist? no. because they only apply to us.

the human race has decided as a whole (with local variations) what they deem as moral/ethical so IMO it is subjective, which is a great thing IMO. it proves we have evolved as a species and this subjective morality is for our mutual benefit and survival.

we objectively need sustenance, shelter and a reasonably healthy ecosystem to survive.
What about all those super life forms on other planets. Do they have morals?

i am agnostic about that BT:) although i would say it depends how long along the evolutionary journey they are. they could be a million or more years on from where we are at this point in time.

IMO it is virtually a mathematical certainty that there is life (advanced/bacteria or anything inbetween) elsewhere in the universe. that is my subjective opinion BTW.;)

You stated that homosexuality is a sin.
You compared homosexuality to having a mental illness.
You linked homosexuality to pedophilia.
You don't understand why rape is a crime.
You didn't know that children cannot give consent to sex.

What was twisted?

The reason I stopped posting, was because you genuinely disgust me. And I'm not getting into another argument, with an ignorant flog, about how pedophilia and homosexuality are not the same, and are not a slippery slope, one leading to the other.
No I didn't and to suggest otherwise disingenuous, malicious wrong.

Yeah I did because dealt with people who've made that choice willingly but it ruined their lives. You know exactly what I mean so can the faux outrage.
In all honesty I don't think you've done anything untoward, but you have to admit that your comment read as a bit dodgy.

If you're a youth worker like what others have said - my concern would be you trying to indoctrinate kids into your religion.

Well thanks for that! And again, it wasn't dodgy, it has been my experience that young girls can and have willingly allowed themselves to be abused, ergo, "consent".

I don't 'indoctrinate' at all. I do however use my faith to inform how I respond to various issues as they arise, and if asked, I will offer a biblical perspective.

The mathematical chances then would probably mean that there are life forms with Gods. Not that that means anything just interesting .. could swap notes.

It's almost as if god were created in bronze age middle eastern man's image and not the other way 'round 'ey?

That sounds like indoctrination by subterfuge.

I am outta here lol i dont think i can take anymore than this, those who wanna engage with this fella, i wish them all the luck :D your gonna need it
It's all a silly thing arguing the case for a god.....any god.
Once the semantics and posturing are out of the way, no-one...and I mean no-one can honestly put forward a case....let alone proof....for their god.

These threads are also largely silly and offer little case for education.
Religion serves for nothing more than a social study in this age and 'god' forbid what we're going to think about such discussions in hundreds of years time.

The more interesting topic really is; How and why are we still subscribing to the gods we've been indoctrinated into and who does it really serve?

So how is answering the question indoctrination stealth?
It's not. But who asks that unless you're having a theological discussion? As a role model for these children, whatever you say to them is going to have a profound impact on them and pretty much everything you think revolves around the Bible. My concern is justified.

Read your " magician " Pope sermon
You are not answering my question, something from nothing is already a magic, or its not? lets assume there was a big bang and universe never existed before big bang. so all these things from nothing is already magic. Creating everything on earth, oceans, mountains, giving laws to things, thats magic. So not go full on and do it all magically anyway?
