They work for me .. they get paid by me .. I'm sure you didn't do all your scientific research yourself.

Spinozism? Nah I'm just going dribble crap about your wanky pantheism I mean come on .. there's self centred wank and then there's self centred wank.
LOL typical, you dont have a clue what it is , but it must be crap. Your religion and you dont deserve respect. Yes i didnt do the scientific research but i read up on it, unlike Bennett i dont go looking for research on evolution on trueorigin christian website. I dont form an opinion unless i know what i am talking about. You sir, are not the same. You have shown your ignorance here, looking catholic.com to find answers on other things not related to christianity. Typical, but i expect no better from you.

Best you keep your head planted deep in your arsehole and keep reading catholic.com and keep apologising for your genocidal homophobic god, sounds like a plan :thumbsu:

Then those dinosaurs .. why so long on earth. and life from a single cell and then all that evolving .. goodness me. What was he thinking

Just thought it might have been a panthiest thing. You know God is me we are the universe etc

Read up on stuff before you open your gob, you are looking more and more foolish day by day.

I never said there is no god, but i dont approve the ridiculous shit written in the bible. Anyone can see through it, lookup on francis collins, the father of Human Genome project.

Heres what he said about genesis

One can look at Genesis 1-2, for instance, and see that there is not just one but two stories of the creation of humanity, and those stories do not quite agree with each other. That alone ought to be reason enough to argue that the literal interpretation of every verse, in isolation from the rest of the Bible, can’t really be correct. Otherwise, the Bible is contradicting itself.

http://www.pewforum.org/2008/04/17/the-evidence-for-belief-an-interview-with-francis-collins/

Now before you say its :literal oh wow hahahahaha, guys like WLC, lennox , ken ham thinks genesis is LITERAL. So dont play the metaphor card again. Majority to christian theologians consider genesis to be a literal account of creation, i quoted lennox, wlc and ken ham earlier in the thread. Now tell me how you know more about bible than christian scholars?

Read up on his biologos christian site, it clearly states genesis whether poetry or not is WRONG.

And the fact that you are parrotting catholic.com for opinion of other religions shows you are absolutely clueless.

What do yo expect catholic.com to say? that islam is a true religion? hinduism is a true religion? or pantheism makes sense? cause they will parrot everything christians usually say so i am sure there is no confirmation bias involved

I atleast except you with double digit IQ's to read up on websites without confirmation bias.

Absolutely ridiculous!!! i dont even know why i bother.

Here is william lane craig.

Dr. Craig: I think the most plausible take for those who want to deny that Adam and Eve were literal persons would be to say that the literary genre ofGenesis 1 and 2 and 3 is not meant to be historical; that this is something like myth or fable or something that teaches some deep truths in the way, say, that Aesop's fables teach deep truths. But it would be a mistake to take these as literal people. These are not meant to be taken in that way. That would be the most plausible spin, I think, for those who want to take the non-literal view. The really hard part for that, though, is that Jesus and Paul seemed to take it literally. They seem to think that there really was such a person as Adam in which case you’d have to either say that they were wrong (which raises all kinds of problems) or you could say that this was just a part of their incidental beliefs but not part of what they actually taught. For example, Paul may well have believed that the Earth was flat for all we know. He probably believed that the sun went around the Earth based on their perception. But they nowhere teach that. They don’t teach this as Christian doctrine. Maybe you could say that about the historical Adam. It is a really difficult problem as to how you are going to sort this out. For that reason, I am inclined to stick with the literal Adam and Eve until absolutely forced by the evidence to abandon that view. I think we are far from that poin

Heres Ken Ham
Rejecting a literal Adam and a literal Fall makes Genesis chapters 1–3 untrustworthy. In other words, it’s an authority issue—it undermines the authority of the Word of God. And from there, it’s a slippery slope to making even the gospel message untrustworthy. Personally, I just don’t see how someone truly and fully understands what it means to be saved if they don’t believe in a historic Adam and a historic Fall!

Embrace togetherness....Shun the doubters, dividers & deceivers among us....Theirs is but a cry for help, of souls lost all at sea.
I find it a bit amusing, you supporting christian fundamentalists like BT while claiming you are not a christian?

Context of the story and context of the story... its time we get back to the context of REALITY. In reality there would never be a justification of slaughter of every last child ( even unborn ones ) and animal, even if we assume that adults were too immoral to be saved. Putting everyone into one bag is nothing more then a clever excuse for not bothering to take care of the children and cattle.

I'm tired of this thread myself anyway. Whenever i see people covering up such acts of genocide, simply because it was commited within the circle of one's faith, it makes me lose faith in humanity.

You are a fundamentalist, you quote catholic.com for opinions on other religions/ideologies. Have you ever quoted anything here that doesnt come from catholic.com? i am yet to see. I dont care if you are a Christian, its your own own personal shit, but stop looking for stuff "you want to hear". You are too eager to hear christianity is the only true religion and the others are fake, thats why you went to catholic.com to find out answers about pantheism? fundamentalist defined. How about you use your brain for a change, you cannot go to a creationist site to learn about evolution, just like you cannot go to a science lab to learn about the 10 commandments, you need to read religion. You are so far off the mark and the sad fact is you dont realise it at all. Yep i am mental cause i shown you up here, double standards. If you want to read what you WANT TO read, then go talk in catholic forums, i am sure they will be ready to tell you what you want to hear about your loving and kind god.

You are active enough to go on a large public forum and justify genocide as gods act and perfectly reasonable, disregarding what everyone else is telling you. If there are people like you, justifying such things, it won't be much of a hussle for those things to go under the carpet, should fundamentalists ever gain absolute political power and decide to go on with those things openly. As long as 95% is willing to sit still and justify the act, it only takes mere 5% of those who are active enough to propagate it for such things to take place.

And yet my questions went unanswered again, on rape, homosexuality, genocide etc etc. Theres no point. As of now there are 32,000 denominations of christianity, i await for you to tell me how yours is the correct one :) but what would i know, you know it all anyway

Hey I'm not looking for any other religions. I'm fine thanks .. got a church with all the answers .. you might be here to search and learn I m just here to stop the bullshit written by the likes of you.

I'm only going to parrot catholic stuff because that's my religion which am very happy with and also happy to draw on its 2000 years of knowledge of this stuff . Makes me look clever even though all i do bugger all thinking myself and it makes you look stupid. It's a win win.
If I was muslin I'd be parroting Muslim stuff.

We don't have discussions . You write rubbish and I point out where you are completely wrong.
It happens every time and it's kinda fun because you just keep ploughing on trying in some weird way to make a point about your beliefs which you don't talk about.

Honestly put me on ignore. Put me in the hall of shame with Bennet because I'm just going to continue doing the same old thing.

The irony is you cant see the problem with the above statement, you are what you are cause of the family you are born into. If you were born in Saudi arabia, you would be parroting a totally different crap now. And the sad fact is you still cant see the problem with it

heres a hint, use your brain, for a change, it can change lives.

Putting you on ignore, hahaha no thanks, your comedy value is way too much for me to do it, Bennett is just an idiot, but you are just pure comedy.

And i am completely wrong hahahahahahaahaha where exactly? after pointing out your fundamentalist apologist rubbish you still believe you are right. Notice how no one else is sticking up for you here other than Bennett?

So how about you answer my question now. Do you believe homosexuals are sinners? yes or no will do. And if yes why so?

You are absolutely hilarious. So stop me from pointing out genocide, rape slavery is wrong. Answer my questions, prove me wrong. You have church with "all the answers" yet you cannot answer basic questions! well maybe you need to go back to your church and tell them they are wrong

We don't equate sin with badness we equate sin with being human.

Is homosexuality sin?

There are plenty of sinful commands by god in both OT and NT. Shame you cannot see it cause its within your circle of faith.

yet you admit you will parrot catholic stuff cause you are a catholic. No other religion exists for you, even for a basic consideration?

You have no knowledge of pantheism, yet you call it "wank".

is there any other proof needed of indoctrination?

Atleast judge something you know, even if its shit, you shouldnt make assumptions.

Thats what fundamentalists do.

Bennett above reckon my questions are sad.

Yep they are sad, cause when Jesus called homosexuals sinners and compared them with rapists, i would object to that cause many of my good friends are homosexuls.

Can you not see this is not for the the modern world?

WAKE UP!

Anyone starting to like satan? i mean those 10 he killed must have been god's agents carrying on his genocidal and sexist orders? So thats 2 and half million people killed by god and people still follow him cause he is loving, kind and merciful. Add homophobic, racist, slave loving **** to that.

Yes yes i know the points i am raising are too valid, so bad that i am apparently a lunatic. But i am only quoting your Bible and quoting the deeds of your "merciful, loving kind" god who asked everyone to forgive their sins ;)

Here is an example of god's victim"

13 And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said unto David, The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.

14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.

15 And Nathan departed unto his house. And the Lord struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.

16 David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.

17 And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.

18 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died.

I suppose the child deserved it because his father sinned though.

Just face facts, heaven is full of unrepentant child murderers and your god is the biggest one of the lot.

Facts wont go down well with you fundies ,so i will leave it at that.

Here is some more Old Testament from a bloke who can't comprehend anything written 5 minutes ago.

Is there a law against the New Testament in this thread. I could understand if we had some Jews around but it's called the Old for a reason.

Anyway tell us about your great God.
