The irony being you are not posting any substance, in the last few pages majority of your posts been one liners taking pot-shot at others. You are allowed to have another opinion, however delusional it is, but this is a discussion thread, not an insult thread. Just because you dont agree with others it doesnt mean you are allowed to put them down, what HARKER wrote is correct. I have asked so many questions here and i received replies which contain everything else but the answer to my question. BT (obviously Bennett) has time and time again insulted his way out of a situation when i asked him over 50 times if he believes homosexuality is a sin like rapists like Jesus said in NT. But yeah whatever, the questions are apparently annoying lol

It's unfortunate that this thread is populated largely by non-theists and the couple of theists that do stick their head in, don't do their argument any favours.

It's the "meta" in the physics that will always be the problem,along with the "super" in the natural.
For many of us around the age of reason,the meta and super get piffed in the trash can of adolescence,unfortunately for some,the magic remains,it's the Mulder syndrome.

For what its worth, I don't care to get personal with individuals....although I know I have, but if there is something to be discussed let's throw it around and not just play with words and attack each other.

Don't get me wrong because I'll attack the abomination we know as religion, until my dying breath but if the argument swings hard enough to convince me with facts and not fairy tales, we should be all ears.

She said, "I hate that you've made me question the God I believe in"

This is from a page back and I found very interesting. At the time it opened my eyes to the way some people may actually feel as her response was genuinely heart-felt.

Oh look here. There's been an addition to the original post I quoted.

Religion enslaves minds. That what it set out to do and has somehow got away with it for way too many years.
Religion instilled fear into young minds. How do I know? I was raised a Catholic but had to turn my back on it at the expense of being ostracized.

Religion is no longer required for any path to self enlightenment. There are many more sincere methods of doing so for those that need validation.
Preaching lies to make one comfortable is patently wrong. I would 'hope' you're not doing that as you will wake to this......enlightenment.

So life can be a bit of a shit. So what?
Better live by way of an ugly truth than a insincere, yet comfortable lie. Horses for courses......but people are coming to this realisation.
Do the graphs on any Western countries for religion and you'll find this to be the case......and if it's not.....then God help us all.

Well i do believe everything is connected and we are all the same if we lose our ego. We are all a part of the universe. So do tell why do you often stand up for the christian intervening god when in pantheism, we are a part of god actually? god of christianity is a separate entity

I have never advocated for a transcendent God....Anyone who knows the history of the transition from Paganism to Christianity couldn't.

What I do defend are the faithful & their beliefs against the atheist onslaught....Come on man, you already know this.
