Anyone bagging this song is just scarred. Scarred because you know you will have to listen to the song every time we play your shit club for the next 10 years. We will make the current Geelong team and the Lions team of 2001 - 2003 look parthetic.

It is all falling in to place nicely. A great logo and song to celebrate our rich history.. now we just need Gazza to sign on and 1 star from each of your clubs and the Gold Coast Juganort will begin its domination of the AFL.

Speaking of smug *****, I just saw Guy McKenna counting off the Gold Coast's draft picks on his fingers at the launch. If the Gold Coast don't dominate the second half of this decade they'll never win anything. Even if they do they're even money to be out of the competition by the end of the next decade and odds-on to be on AFL life support long before then.

Newbie, you mental midget, if you knew anything about football you'd know the reason the AFL is gifting your 'club' so many draft picks and allowing them to operate under a different set of rules is because no one up there knows anything about football (except the imports from football states) and they need all the help they can get.

The Gold Coast Seagulls only exist because the AFL is determined to beat the NRL and wants to take on the Titans. The Gold Coast (bogan paradise) is rugby league territory, thus the NRL is happy for the Titans to compete on their merits. The AFL, on the other hand, knows that without some sort of immediate success for the Seagulls no self-respecting rugby supporter will come across, the surfers will stay on the beach getting stoned, and the vacuous bleached blondes will have no reason to snort stomped-down coke in corporate boxes instead of seedy, tacky nightclubs.

The AFL will do all in its power to ensure success for the Seagulls but don't think for a second it will be anything but manufactured, hand-delivered and gift-wrapped in order for the AFL to score points in enemy territory. Your club, like you, is a tool.

Not as gay as that other sport, where the huggy wuggies give each other a good rub. At least the GC will get a chance to learn what a "real" football looks like.
