Mcgovern/Yeo? Nononononononono! Yeo needs to stay midfield and gov needs to play either deep forward or back. Forward lines have pretty much 7 players including the one on the bench, so I'd add the second ruck to the rotations of the 6 you mentioned and have the that player (whether it be Mcinnes, Lycett or Sinclair) either filling Kennedy/Mcgoverns role while they were resting on the bench or roaming around the ground being a lead-up target like Mcinnes is now
Was more thinking of Nicnat floating between 50s, while McGovern/Yeo take the ball ups/throw ins inside each 50. Probably not a good idea, but not all teams currently play 2 main rucks, so could be an option.

Id prefer Emac and Schofield back, McGovern forward with the ability to swing back if we are being dominated. A forward line of McGovern, Kennedy, Darling, LeCras, Hill and Cripps could easily be the best in the league.
It would be good but careful on statements like the best. Hawks have Ruffy Bruest Gunston Riolli etc and Swans with Franklin Turdpit Parker etc.

AFl.coms take on the Yeo hit. Bodes well.

2. Yeo blow
West Coast defender Elliot Yeo will have a nervous wait for the Match Review Panel findings after his spoiling attempt on St Kilda's Jimmy Webster forced the Saint from the ground due to the blood rule. Webster stayed off the ground after half-time due to concussion. Yeo's spoil looked like a genuine attempt to knock the ball out of Webster's hands but he made contact with Webster's nose. Given the new MRP rules, Yeo would be unlucky to receive anything more substantial than a fine. The Eagles need him because he has become a vital player, kicking three goals on Saturday
The above report hides the fact that "Webster returned to the field soon after but was substituted out of the match at half-time with concussion stemming from a separate incident where he collided with a teammate."

Certainly, a deliberate hit causing concussion is very different from a careless miss of spoil cause minor blood noise!!!! A report should have the responsibility to report the truth.

Positive:
A win.
Good intensity.

Negative:
St Kilda is a relatively weaker team.
Wait until we can beat Collingwood away. (Beating Geelong at home is a must as Geelong has not been playing well away)

Very true. Would be nice to have an experiment with it next year though, assuming Emac and Brown make it back.
Brown's rubbish. We should try and see what we can get for him now because he has no spot on our list.

If Sinclair keeps improving we could be able to net ourselves a first round upgrade/another pick/package for a player.

Would be best to get another ten games into him. His wife is a professional netballer so potential good father sons.

I identify with this. For me I'm not so concerned about any bias some believe he demonstrates, rather just the lack of quality in what he actually says. Basil qualified some of Watson's comments to improve the standard today...and that's saying something.

Positives
Forward line with Cripps and Hill supporting JK really well.
Shep got a goal for his birthday.
Wellingham still showing guts at the contest.
Closed the game down well despite some decent Saints challenges in the third.

Negatives

NicNait still not holding on well to his marks and not displaying his ability as a "contested ball beast"...he also palmed it down the throat of a few saints on at least 5 occasions.
Didn't see the first quarter but Masto seemed ineffectual. Haven't checked the stats yet so this is just a feeling.

Ugly
Yeo's likely citation- we need him next week.
Commentary (see above).

If you notice he is hardly ever in a contested marking contest and if you watch his taps it was good interception mainly by the saints players (usually steven)who were on the move knowing he would win the tap. Nicnat was the reason we scored so many times from centre breaks to criticise his game today is a bit odd. He also had 14 possessions more than the 2 saints ruckman put together. If you listen to the interviews it is not his role, he is a ground ball player mainly for us adding a bigger body around the ball. He does seem to have lost some confidence in his marking but I can only really remember him contesting one in the middle of the ground and I thought he was unlucky to not get paid the mark
