I cant help but feel that Jordans time at the Bulldogs shouldn't go unremarked upon.

As a life long supporter, great clubman and forever an immortal of the club, Jordan of course will never be forgotten and will always be a Bulldog and just like Doug Hawkins in time nobody will remember the time he spent playing elsewhere.

I just wanted to take the time to say thanks Jordan.

His mark is in the GF is one I’ll remember till my dying day. Moz’s tackle confirmed our victory but when the game was in the balance it was the most important contest won in the game.

Had plenty of injuries/position changes at the wrong moments that probably curtailed what could have been a truly great Bulldogs career. Still he managed to put all that to one side and be counted when it mattered most.

Thank you Roughie.

I really wanted to add that to the op, I just couldn't find it.

It was an action as pivotal as any other during the GF and a bit like Jordan himself it gets a little lost in qtr full of huge moments.

That was the moment I knew the game was ours and I went searching for my old man who found it more comfortable to be in the standing area behind our seats.

He would have marked the next kick out as well except Easton came over the top to spoil.

All the best Jordan, you've got a Premiership mate at the Pies so it won't be all new faces.

Always a Son Of the West Jordan. I will never forget you marking and then swinging around to kick a goal fifty out at Perth stadium in the Elimination final, and the boys all getting around you.

Come back with some coaching experience, I am sure there will be a spot for you.

Bulldog for life, great clubman, had the peak couple of years ruckmen seem to have at the perfect time and performed as required when the moment came. Can't ask for more then that. Will miss ya Roughy, but i think we will see you again back at the kennel soon enough.

Great clubman. Great bloke.
Spoke to him for about half an hour years and years ago watching a pre-season practice match at Princes park. He was injured at the time. Down to earth. Very approachable. Must have been in only his second maybe third year at the club. He spoke openly about the challenge afl was and how he was nervous but relishing it.
Thanks for the great service roughy.
And come back in some capacity after your pies time.
The door will always be open to you in the hearts of the red white and blue.

Although he'll be remembered most fondly for that mark in the Grand Final - his mark, play on and goal from 50m against West Coast in the elimination final was another Roughie special I'll always remember.

Has to come back as a specialist coach post-career. Always a bullgod.

Agree. That was the kick out after JJ's goal was disallowed which kept the Swans in the game. Was hoping like all hell we wouldn't seize up and then Roughy took that towering mark near the centre and I took a deep breath.

Also loved his mark and kick on the run goal from the 50 in the semi final win in Perth which again was the moment I thought we had that game done. Two pivotal moments in big games which I'll remember.

Good luck Roughy, heart and soul.
