Firstly good to see that we have finally gotten rid of that geelong supporter who was telling us all his reasons why mark williams wouldn't be playing.
Secondly, we have to stop those cocky geelong supporters from saying that they have already got the premiership all sewn up. They haven't played in the grand final this year. We are on the eve of a great game and I reckon that the same thing will happen to Geelong as it did 19 years ago. We won by a goal.

2008 was the symbolic rising from the ashes of 1996 and the subsequent transformation into the powerhouse we see today.

2008 trumps 2014.

2014 was brutal , don’t think I seen a more complete demolition of a decent opponent on GF day . Had everything .

2008 was like Foreman V Ali . Geelong over confident and swinging wildly while we played to our strengths and out thought then counter punched them.
Remember turning to my mate in the 3Rd quarter saying ‘gee if we can pinch a few here I think we can win this’ cue 5 minutes of madness from Cyril and Dew

When Williams and Dew won that 2 on 4 in our forwardline I knew we were home ....great memories

Absolutely loving the gf reunion vids on the hawks website this week. The 88 lads were piss funny in the reminiscing.
The 2008 lads were fantastic as well , worth a watch.

Then get to the last photo- that's me centre front in the blue cap. MY son in the BRIGHT gold cap next to me.

Halfway through the second quarter I told the guy next to me (brown cap) "we've won."

I wonder if you were sitting next to the lovely old lady that had "been to every game since 56"
