They've proven nothing, the only players of youth that have shown anything is Burton & Hardwick......Brand, Howe, O'brien & Sicily shape up as this generations Thurgood, Thorp, Taylor & Dowler.
It's a matter of record no matter your unwillingness to acknowledge it. Burton and Hardwick are good too, there's really too many to mention. The fasttracking of development in 2017 made it a very good season for us in the end.

Considering you've previously stated Kade Stewart & Billy Hartung were "tracking nicely" your opinion hardly holds any weight....If a hot headed meathead like James Sicily is the source of excitement for the future, then your club is in dissaray...His mental ineptitude will be exploited by all opposition as it was at times this year.
Considering Sicily isn't even good enough to get a game as a forward in the 12th placed team, I would highly doubt he's better....Ps that Jed Lamb must be a hell of a player considering how Sicily went on him.
Embarrassing would be saying blicavs is a forward cause he has never played as one. And hawkins kicked a lot more goals than any hawk did this year. Actually we had 3 players who kicked more goals than any hawk.
And stanley plays 95% in the ruck so thats a pretty dumb thing to say too. Better luck next time hey champ
I wonder if I typed out the names of all the Demons players who've come and gone since Melbourne won a flag, would I reach the character cap for a post?
It's not an opinion, this is what has happened alrady this year.

The 2nd best intercept player in the competition after Rance, who can run like the wind, and kicks tracer bullets. There's plenty of reason for excitement there. A 3rd rounder who is probably what Geelong fans wish first rounder Thurlow would have become.
What’s the prediction for the Hawks in 2018 now they have rebuilt their list, changed their game style accordingly and finally have the right age demographic that premiership teams aspire to?

With all their top-ups, ridiculously old list, and the fact they've sat out the past two drafts, it's surely premiership 2018 or bust at this stage. Glad my club is keeping an eye on the future whilst simultaneously challenging for the flag, will make the drop off much less significant when it happens, if at all.

Ease up there tiger lets not start having a go at West Aussies here mate. I realise its been hard living through your clubs 2 decades of mediocrity, but chin up your 100 number Top10 draft picks and god knows how many GWS rejects should have you climbing up that later in no ti.... wait forget it your teams shite, Go ahead take it all out on whoever you want!!
I am, as in we will finish bottom 4 and get a very nice player in the draft to add to our already exciting youth, building another imposing outfit to dominate this competition. Geelong will ride the wave of the messiah (Scablett) returning to another prelim final only to fail yet again, Finally realising that the team is good but not good enough.... Wow im good at predicting
