I’ve never seen anybody wear that much in -30 degree weather. Never been to New York though. Have heard the wind off he water can be pretty bad.

I find just chucking the clothes on the clothes horse anywhere in the house works. As long as you don't need anything in a hurry everything dries in about 24hrs on a clothes horse inside.

Yeah, * NYC. Was there once when about -17. Could not wait to get out of there and get my flight to LA where weather was normal.

When I first moved interstate I worked at a warehouse of a major supermarket picking groceries. I worked in the chilled warehouse which was 0-5 degrees. Poor bastards in the grocery section just about died when it was 40 degrees. I worked in there every now and then and couldn't imagine getting a soft drink order in that heat. Pick 25 cartons of 1.25l coke, then 30 24 x 600ml waters or something. Ouch.

i wonder if anyone will crack the shits if i take my dog into work and let him chill under the aircon all day. supposedly 42-43 where i am. its an rdo for 80% of the people here though
42 is ridiculous. Way too hot.

Funny how those tabloid media sites do stories about the extreme heat.
They were talking about how Penrith and Western Sydney was like 47-48 degrees recently.
However all the pictures were of women in bikinis at the beach (not that i'm complaining)
