Went to see IGNIVIMOUS, 'NEATH, ORACLE OF THE VOID, MOURNFUL CONGREGATION and MISERY at the Brunswick Club. IGNIVIMOUS were intense and heavy, Neath and Oracle of the Void I only caught bits of, MOURNFUL CONGREGATION were slow, heavy, doomy, brilliant, and MISERY heavy, quality death metal.
Has anyone been to the East Brunswick for a gig? Killer stage, killer PA, decent price drinks and a good beer garden!!

East Brunswick club has a great Vegan food selection, highly recommended.

Well I don't care to talk vegan! Meat till death!! Give me a medium-rare porterhouse with pepper sauce over fruit and veg any day.
But if you want to throw punk in here, as much as I am not into it, as far as I am concerned, it is more welcome in this forum than Slipknot, and other non-metal bands!

On another note. DESTRUKTOR secured the support to brazilian legends KRISIUN at the TOTE on the 23rd of April, stoked to get that. Been a fan for 10-odd years. For a mega tough/brutal/intense night, get your butts down there. We will kick things off at about 8:30, DAWN of AZAZEL at 9:30 and KRISIUN I'm not sure when. 11 or so maybe.

And if you are in the BENDIGO area on the 5th of June, get to the Newmarket for a Black/Death metal night with 3 rural death/black mongers, and DESTRUKTOR's first gig there in 3 or so years.

GALON, did you check out our myspace? We put a song from the album up.

Anyone within a cooee of Bendigo on the 6th June should make there way to the Newmarket Hotel for a night of Rural Metal Desecration. 4 bands (including DESTRUKTOR), $10, hell night! If you like it soft and melodic, bugger off to your local emo/goth/wimp club. Those that have a spine are urged to attend!

Is anyone else going to MORBID ANGEL tonight? Get to Billboard and witness the undisputed, undefeated kings of death metal!!!

I have a trivial story about this. When Morbid Angel first toured, I was a young teenager. They played an all age show at the Palace though the week prior to the show, I mouthed off at my mother and I was grounded. I lived in a rural area so I couldn't get out either. Fast forward 17 years and I have a six week old infant, and another mother is preventing me from going (well not exactly true, I bought state of origin tickets before this was announced and don't think it's responsible for me to be out two times during the week). The NZ setlist looks good and I think it will be a good show. For what it's worth I also missed Krisiun due to the birth of my son though I managed to see Malevolent Creation.

Anyone interested in a real good new Heavy Metal Radio Station go to Megadeth.com and select Megadeth Radio...They have one 24 hours a day.

Megadeth have chosen the music and update it weekly, but they play pretty much everything.

Very Awesome. :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu: .

Anyone going to Soundwave, or Opeth in November?

I have tickets for Soundwave and I'm pumped.
I saw Meshuggah las tyear and now they are back again already. Brilliant.
Really want to see Faith No More again but don't feel like battling all those snotty nosed emo clowns all day. East coast has some stand along FNM gigs. Hopefully they give in and do one in Perth as well!

That post should be deleted. This thread is tainted.

DESTRUKTOR play with IGNIVOMOUS at the PONY Bar in Melbournes CBD for a dual CD launch this weekend. Those who love the metal furious and unrelenting should get there.
