I think it's a little unusual in that almost all of the players listed were experienced players, and that virtually all of them where moved on at the very first opportunity Hird had.

Am I right to say Prismall was given an extra year by Hird to bounce back from injury, and maybe Lonergan a 1 year deal, and the rest never signed a deal under Hird??

Mark Williams - was barely played and then retired
Andrew Welsh
Angus Monfries
Mark McVeigh
Henry Slattery
Ricky Dyson
Jay Neagle
Kyle Reimers
Sam Lonergan
Brent Prismall

The LEAST experienced player listed above had 6 years in the system....that's a lot of years of experience being moved on IMO, mostly at Hird's earliest convenience.

dyson, lonergan and prismall signed a deal. welsh and mcveigh got offered deals (& prismall got an offer too) neagle got given a 2nd chance. slattery, williams & reimers the only ones not offered deals iirc

I'm pretty sure Dyson was signed to a 2 year deal/extension under Knights, and Neagle had 1 year left on his 2 year deal and was actually demoted to the rookie list by Hird for that 1 year and sacked.

Which leaves only Lonergan and Prismall getting a 1 year extension, and the rest never being signed under Hird (like I said).

Are you SURE Dyson was signed under Hird?
