On a good note on a sour night...

just how good is he. 13 weeks out and he picks up 28 touches first game back in probably just under 3 quarters of football. Boy have we missed him.

Bucks played 3 quarters of football last night, and he still gathered an excellent 28 disposals. The result was bittersweet, but atleast we have our captain back playing great football.

Save it for Shubecki derro.
Sick of people bagging Tarrant for apparent lack of effort. Bag him for being a crap player, but as far as effort goes perhaps you should actually go to a game and watch him when he hasn't got the ball.

that attempt by tarrant on the half forward line i think in the third quarter was poor

na he goes 100% but its like sometimes he just zones out for stages i think we ask to much of him though and after so many years of it his begging for a quality forward to stand next to him.

I think when people look at the inspirational leaders of the AFL, Michael Voss and James Hird are the people that are mentioned, and If Nathan Buckley is mentioned he gets the flack, which is certainly uncalled for.

We know how good Nathan Buckley is, but last night showed plenty of things. It showed an insporational individual effort, an impact on a game that looked out of reach for the underdogs, and leadership to a team that has missed the man that has carried them through the thick and thin. A great effort, and infact, a remarkable effort.

Unfortunatley the majority of replies are from Collingwood supporters.

Sensational player. Words can't really describe his output, on and off the field, for the club.

I just hope he pulls up OK.

ATM im just happy that he isnt injured again, it would be so sad to see one of the all time greats bow out from injurie issues. A similar issue is James Hird, lets hope that they can both play great footy for the next two or three years

When he played for us, he won a Premiership and a Magarey Medal in his one and only season. Close to the best I have ever seen. Russell Ebert was better.

Too be honest LittleSchneider I can't see how you can be glad to see an opposition player return no matter how great they are. If we were playing Hird and he had a great game returning from some injury, even if we won, I wouldn't be thrilled. ;)
