he's only young i guess and not in the full time afl environment. he's a small forward yes?

IIRC, he is around 180cm. So more of a medium sized player I suppose.

I keep hearing about his bad attitude he 16 give him a break . He has plenty of potential kicking a goal to win a jets game last year as a 15 year old.

How's his pace?

In regards to attitude... Is he like Reimers or McDougal?

Good pace.

In regards to his attitude I've heard he doesn't take footy seriously enough, but I'm starting to think that's bogus. Seems to work pretty hard on the footy field, no idea what he's like off the track. From a few reports he seems to be fine though, maybe his attitude problem was when he was younger? Dunno, maybe those who know him may shed some light.

Saw him on the weekend and he was good, picked up quite a bit of it and would've been in the best players. He has more potential then either Wallis or Libba IMO, needs to put on a bit more weight and build his tank though.

Talent wise, you bet he can play. I would put his value around pick 20-25 maybe? No question though, he can play.

The question marks over his attitude is the worrying thing.

Perfect - in 2012 we get two picks back to back anywhere from 10-16 Im guessing, and pick up Hunter with our 2nd rounder likely to be in the low 30s.

jesusss. giving the kid wraps or what!

DO.NOT.TELL.ANYONE :P

as far as we're concerned he has an attitude, drug, fitness problem and worthy of a late 4th rounder

The AFL once again screwed the dogs over with the changing of the father son rule. Under old father son rules both Sam and Ben Reid should have been bulldogs. And wallis and Libber should have been taken with picks 74 and 88.

Under the old system, one f/s was a 3rd rounder, a second in the same year became a 2nd rounder (this happened to Collingwood with the Shaws).

You also missed Geelong's Billie Smedts. Smedts went at the end of the first round and his father Alby played 51 games for us. He would have cost a 4th rounder.

We could have had four first round picks that year!

Getting me excited about this kid now that everyone is talking him up!

How highly rated is he? on a scale of 1 to ayce cordy/mitch wallis/tom liberatore, and how highly rated they were, where would you rate him?

what kind of player is he? how tall? where does he play? anyone seen him play?

I need more info!!

He was playing for the western jets and i believe hes a smallish forward type player. Thats all i really know about him, apparently needs an attitude adjustment...Thats all i really know on him.

I spoke to a kid who plays for St. Kevs who thought he was (although completely different) as good a player as Wallis. I asked him about these perceived attitude issues and was told it is just bullshit, his attitue is fine

are you just taking the piss? trying to make him look like a cocky arseh*le? i cant tell... sarcasm was never my speciality

Played table football with a Russian bloke last week. He used "the hunter" to describe offence/attack.

"I'll be the hunter, you be the protector."

Mark taught me about 15 to 20 years ago when I was in high school. My mother was a teacher at a nearby primary school and the two knew each other reasonably well. Have remained in contact with him and others who know the family.

Mark was a disciplinarian as a teacher and I can't see him not being the same way as a father. In fact, I'm sure he's likely more strict on his family as he was on his students, that's the way most teachers are.

The scouting report is that he's a firm second round talent next year but if he was in the draft this year would be a top fifteen pick. Next year's draft being a so-called "superdraft" could see him slip to the early to mid twenties. He needs work on his kicking but is a beautiful handballer. He looks set to be an inside midfielder, a real in and under type. He fights for the pill and is often seen at the bottom of the pack.

Supposively the kid has a great work ethic on and off the track and is eager to improve. May not be as smooth a talent as either of the boys you picked up last year but has the potential to be just as dangerous due to his attitude. Not someone who will bring in the Brownlow votes but who is someone who makes you an infinitely stronger side with them in the team.

I'd expect the Bulldogs to draft him in the second round next year.

Thanks for that mate, good to hear positives about his attitude! Wow next year could really be the year that sets us up for our second flag, we better draft well and keep our compo until then, 2 first rounds and then Hunter 2nd round! Just if the AFL weren't ****ed and we got 2 picks for Ward!

Just wanted to add... At his age you can't really make anything out of attitude in a negative sense unless they're constantly getting themselves into trouble. There is still so much time to shape behaviors and attitudes. Kid is surrounded by VFL/AFL people so he is in the right environment.

Pleasure to try and help.
