Just to bring this up, this is still the most shattering season of AFL I've witnessed as a Melbourne supporter.
Hit top Rd18. Proceed to lose the next four and get cheated out of the elimination final by some of the worst umpiring I've ever seen, losing by under a goal. Essendon turn around and get flogged the next week.
Was so, so shattered. Thought it was our year that year.

Why would they have to give the flag back when they were not guilty of breaches until AFTER that flag.
Imagine how much better off the competition would be if unfinancial paupers like Nth were left to die like Fitzroy
Melbourne were found guilty AFTER they won the NRL and had the premiership STRIPPED.
