Wouldn't think would work, but will try.

I relate The Inbetweeners to movies like Superbad, which i think was a ripper. So if they can pull something off like that i would be pretty happy with it. It would seem highly unlikely though.

That's exactly what I've been thinking. The best thing they could do is to cast the characters of Superbad in the American version, making the series cover the 1-2 years at school before the Superbad movie took place.

Fogel (Christoper Mintz-Plesse) would be the nerdy Will-type character, Evan (Michael Cera) would play the awkward Simon character with a love interest, Seth (Jonah Hill) is reminiscent of Jay with his crude remarks and criticism, and they could get a 4th character in to play the dumb Neil-type friend (they could explain his absence from the Superbad movie by saying in the last episode that he dropped out of school just before exams or something like that).

I think this is the only way an American version of The Inbetweeners would work.

Best ep of the season so far I would say. Back to a bit less stupid a bit more humour. Tara alert was priceless.

I'd rather 18 episodes of quality than dragging it on. I think it's right to finish up after this series/movie

Nah, they're finishing at the right time. Shows like this invariably start to suck when they stretch the premise.

Think how much better That 70s Show would have been if they'd finished it at the end of season 4 when everyone graduated. Instead they kept it going and had to think up a list of increasingly-crappy reasons for the characters to stick around and continue to hang out with each other.

You gotta catch it this week. Well over the top again but some of the funniest lols I've had in ages - especially in the second half. The last 5 min or so are hilarious.

Will in bed with Neil when he pulls the covers off him - you WILL lol

Episode was good. Second half is so good, mainly this scene and what happens after it.

****ing EPIC episode, so many laughs.

Maybe they should have stuck with another season of them all going to the same uni.

*farts*
'calm down it's only a sausage and egg mcmuffin'
*farts again*
'there's the hashbrown'

lost my shit there.

Another great episode. :thumbsu:

Lost it in the last 5 minutes, Jay asking for a 3-way, Neil pissing the bed, Simon boxing on with his dick and then all driving home naked. :D

Best. Show. Ever.

Don't think I can say it enough :D:D:D

The only show that makes me consistently laugh out loud.

Awesome soundtrack too.

Will: "I pogoed on her stomach for five seconds, she asked me to leave and I'm still a virgin, but that's not the point."

Neil: "Not sure, could be fart, could be worse"

"QUESTIONS!!!"

Was expecting more from Tara's sister.

And was that Jobe Watson in the unit? :D

Jay's Tara alert in the car on the way home...GOLD!!

Oh sweet Jesus this show is perfect.

Hearing Jay go on about 'the West Ham U/13 tour to Holland' was hilarious, and the end was just brilliant.

Simon knows that Jay is a bullshit artist, yet still seeks his advice. I find that kind of odd...
