What’s on the mind of the average sixth-form boy? College, jobs, marriage, that whole bright and exciting future thing? Or the humpability of anything female in sight? For Will, Simon, Jay and Neil, it’s humpability all the way.

Marooned in suburbia, The Inbetweeners follows four friends as they navigate the minefield of the Comprehensive education with their hormones at full blast. There's vomit, offensive language, and a trip to Thorpe Park.

All they care about is sex, cheap booze, kid brothers and the sexual persuasion of Neil’s dad. None of our heroes are exceptional, all are distinctly average. And trying to convince the world they are sophisticated, sexy human beings usually ends in wretched disaster.

The Inbetweeners delves into the psyche of the British teenage boy and discovers equal amounts of pr0n, sick and cheap lager.

I have just seen the first episode and I quite like it. It has some similar elements to 'Skins' in a way. It's good for a cheap laugh or two.

It will come in due time.:p

I spent the last couple of hours watching the entire first series. Very funny but very sex orientated. It's like the only thing on the main characters minds.

Welcome to the world of teenage boys!;)

I love this show, but once again suffers from the curse of being british in that it will only run for very short seasons. Yes shows hardly go past their best before date...but you always want more.

Always leave them wanting more.

"Iain Morris and Damon Beesley have been asked by American Broadcasting Corporation to produce a pilot for a U.S. version of the series. They will be head writers for the project. The network has given Morris and Beesley a second blind script commitment for a future project the two will create. Both projects will be made at ABC Studios."

- US adaption

Jees, must be very popular in the United States. I must say, I was hooked from the very first episode. :thumbsu:

All episodes from series one and two are available on youtube.

Anyone watched this cracker of a sitcom from England about a kid who gets moved from a private school to a comprehensive in 6th form? Absolutely hilarious IMO, one of the best shows I've been shown in a while.

Coming on Go! at some point in the near future I'm pretty sure

According to the ever reliable wikipedia, a 3rd season has been comissioned to air in 2010 and a feature film is also in the works

A third series sounds exciting; I don't put much faith in a film, though.

Annoyigly the episodes on youtube seem to run out after the second ep of series 2. First ep of series two is absolute gold

Bump

On Go!, started tonight at 9:30 but is repeated at about 2 in the morning or something. Gets better and better after the first ep, second ep is gold

I IQ'd the first two eps last night and just watched the first.

The British humour and turn of phrase is always entertaing but even moreso when they're not holding anything back.

The scene where they were discussing Will's mum very much had a Ricky Gervais feel to it.

Looking forward to waching ep 2 tonight and then the following two eps next week.

Just off topic, were they the two from Extras by any chance? The names ring a bell.

Good stuff for all that recommended this show, was so hooked I had to download and watch the entire 2 series in the past few days.

Humour is a lot funnier than a lot of other comedy shows, plus Jay is gold.

Just finished watching Season 1. Hilarious stuff.

Looking forward to watch Season 2.

Apparently with Season 3 there is a movie aswell.

Anyone got any details about the Movie?

Hopefully The Inbetweeners do not go downhill like Skins UK has been recently.
