Does anyone know what the situation is with Masten's injury?

Is he up and running now? Will he come in straight away or need to get fitness? Do you think he'll have some time in the WAFL?

Would love to get him back.

Selwood was a late withdrawal today, presumably due to his AC injury.

Swift was also a late withdrawal, apparently with appendicitis

Nicoski looked to have hurt his arm or shoulder and B.Jones looked to do his shoulder after a heavy bump from Embley.

On Swift how long until you can recover properly from appendicitis? I heard he was expected out for about 2 weeks but the club also said that about Shueys Glandular fever and that is now moved to indefinite. Anyone who has had this/known someone with it how long to you start feeling better?

Somebody mentioned that Masten was playing WAFL reserves this weekend?

Butler is listed as 8 weeks so you would assume that means LTI.

Glass will not play, have heard he'll probably require surgery, as I suspected when he first had complaints.

Lets hope Swift isn't out for too long, not getting games into our young mids is really starting to hurt us going fwd.

A Selwood should return.

Woosha being interviewed tonight said J Jones was placed on LTI list last week so we have at least two spots available to be promoted this week .
Striijk will be a certainty IMO

Woosh said Hurn copped a kick to the calf, which may be a slight strain. What this really means is, he has probably snapped his Achilles tendon right off, but we won't tell anyone the extent of his injury for another four or five weeks...

Well either way there's no need to put him on the LTI list - we already have enough room to promote all our rookie listed players, plus Liam Bedford, Ryan Davis and Ash Arrowsmith.

Be a while yet I'd say. Im no expert but it looks like glandular fever can really knock you about for some time.
