GC Pick 6

For

Dogs first + second (for bid matching) + Jamarra
If we are paying most if not all of the Salary it would be more like our second and Jamarra for their 6.

That gives us 6 and 10 to try and get Wilkie and Butters this year

We'll use it as part of a package for one or both of Butters and or Wilkie.
If that were the case and a deal was to go ahead I'd say it'd be closer to;

Dogs In : Butters, Budarick, 56, 60
Dogs out: 10 Jamarra, 28, F1

Suns in: Jamarra, 28
Suns out: Budarick, 13, 56

Port out: Butters, 60
Port in: 10, 13, F1

Not sure Gold Coast would be in on this. From a value perspective I don't actually know that Jamarra is worth more than Budarick at this stage.

Why couldn’t this happen in a year GC have first round picks they have to get rid of.
Zeke Uwland should go top 5, perhaps top 3.
Gold coast academy kid.

Ok. Warning, conspiracy theory inbound with absolutely no substance only feels. Ps new user name my old name dogdays_r_over I realised had an unintentional and unfortunate double entendre. Back to my conspiracy. AFL own the suns. AFL need to sweep the Jamarra fiasco under their bulging rug. AFL also in damage control over their diabolical review of father son and NGA and complete misread of the room. Suns need to offload pick 6. Optically it looks better should that be for a player, not for a bundle of lower picks. Suns need a forward. Dogs receive closure and compensation while Suns make out like bandits looking like a saviour to the cause.

That is by far the best outcome imaginable for us if we are to trade. Getting pick 6 for Marra. Even if we have to pay most of the salary & second rounders going their way. Suns are definitely in a position to offload a high pick and take the risk considering their academy talent coming in.

GC wouldn't be offloading anything of significance in terms of draft capital, they don't need it.

We will be trying to pay him out and get him off the list next year if he's not traded, why would any club give up much for him if that's the case.

His worth is next to zero.

I know the feeling re double entendres (though mine was deliberate and I don’t have the heart to change).

This would be a miracle result. Suspect there’ll be wheeling and dealing and they’ll split the pick and send us something while using the balance elsewhere.

Alternatively we have to hand over JUH with a suite of picks, a bit like the Collingwood trade to us for Treloar. Getting into the first round would still be phenomenal.

Sounds great - what was the go with Charlie Kirk’s assassination?
