That’s not my recollection at all. Didn’t North offer him a lot of cash?
Years before that.

I had had a couple….Your sarcasm detector needs recalibration Brisdog.
Whoa back there! My whole life experiences have been fully dependent on " a third tier Arts Degree course". You've shattered my comfortable delusion that my life somehow mattered! My life experiences tell me that your list of questions are incredibly biased and would have you kicked out of a third tier Arts Degree course.
I think Richmond were trying to rein him in, and he sooked it up, putting himself out there as available to other clubs, but no other club showed interest, so he went back with his tail between his legs and put in the hard work and turned into a superstar.Richmond wanted to get rid of Dusty a few years ago. He even did a tour of GWS's facilities.
But ultimately no other club wanted him.
Then he grew up and won them 3 flags.
I hope we have a similar story with Jamara.

He would most likely have become a Giant had the AFL not stepped in. Richmond fans do not like to acknowledge that.Richmond wanted to get rid of Dusty a few years ago. He even did a tour of GWS's facilities.

This could be the best outcome for JUH, but Dusty was a bit of a bad boy but always stood up and was respected by the playing group. Kid had character. I don’t think JUH has much trust left.Richmond wanted to get rid of Dusty a few years ago. He even did a tour of GWS's facilities.

I saw him in the Vandermeer micd up video last week, didn’t look like he was interacting much with anyone but then again this the clips he was in would be like 10 seconds of the whole training session.Does anyone know whether he has even been training recently?
Nah maybe once every few weeksDoes anyone know whether he has even been training recently?
That’s gotta be a seriously impressive hourly rate.Nah maybe once every few weeks
Even more impressive it's only to prep for your job and not even be considered to actually do it.That’s gotta be a seriously impressive hourly rate.
Those videos posted, in his defense, weren't posted by him and are also over a week old.If anyone caught Agenda Setters tonight, another couple of partying social media clips over the weekend.
Riewoldt said JUH was taking the piss. He said it twice. Hard to disagree.
Exhibit A on how to torch an AFL career in six months and watch all these 'mates' flee when the career and cash dries up.
Sad.
Riewoldt is 1000% right. JUH is Making a mockery of those with health issues and the club as well. Can’t wait till this saga is over and he is out of the club.If anyone caught Agenda Setters tonight, another couple of partying social media clips over the weekend.

I personally thought both Martin and DeGoey should have been sacked at various points and both turned it around.Richmond wanted to get rid of Dusty a few years ago. He even did a tour of GWS's facilities.

I knew a few people who had interactions with him around that patch and what was hitting the press (ie chopsticks) was about a tenth of it.Years before that.

Who knows what steered him straight. I remember they sacked Dan Connors after a night out with Martin and you’d think it was only his massive upside of talent that kept him from getting chopped as well.
If you asked me which two players on our list would definitely not get away with the same thing those are definitely the two I would have thought of first.Certainly the reality of it. If this was like a Poulter or Baker level player pulling this shit they would have been sacked before round 1 lol.
Talent is a major part of the business.
Players hiding behind the mental health card has been happening for years. They do it because they know it’s a haven where the media won’t dare to go and nobody will ever call them out for it.This could be the best outcome for JUH, but Dusty was a bit of a bad boy but always stood up and was respected by the playing group. Kid had character. I don’t think JUH has much trust left.
The best outcome for JUH and the club is that he is done/ traded at seasons end. Too many bridges burned and trust lost. I hope he goes to Sydney for a complete reset and a club that won’t tolerate it.
What irritates me most about this case is the use of “personal issues” and mental health as the reason for constant poor choices. It devalues the issue for those who are suffering and need assistance.
From a club view, it drives me crazy that we pay 900k for this. There is too much of this in society e.g. the work cover system going broke in every state due to vexatious mental health claims, which results in genuine cases struggling to get approved. I see it time and time again at work.
I don’t know the terms of his tripartite contract with the AFL, him & the club work, but I hope they review this and how it has played out.
I think Kane Cornes said earlier to just take him out of the footy program, and for one I agree with him.
Stopped by briefly at training this morning and as far as I could tell JUH wasn’t anywhere to be seen.
Make of that what youse will.
In slightly brighter news: the bont was fully involved in all training drills as was treloar.
Garcia was the only player in the rehab group and VDM looked to be restricted to doing countless run throughs.
It’s a shame. He won’t be playing vfl until he’s in full training, surely.
You could probably remove he I think partEasier to just say he won’t play at any level this year I think.
