Very much stinks of Cotton On.

This time they aren't denying it
If all this is really happening because of "health" issues, there's nothing to say they will improve significantly or are not recurrent. Personally I'm at the stage where I don't believe it. I have a theory best not shared. But if he leaves under mutual agreement I hope the destination club is fully aware of what the reasons and history are.

All clubs will do their due diligence should the club and JUH part ways and he was willing to recommit to the game.

Chris Scott was only confirming as much when he made his "dangerous conversations" remark when asked about any possible interest in JUH. The degree to which Geelong now live rent free in the heads of some of our supporters is incredible. Im pretty sure that most coaches would give the same slightly less melodramatic answer if asked the same.

And if they didnt they'd be lying.

Seriously?

There are plenty of articles and Scott said quite recently they are open to "having g dangerous conversations " around JUH.

You're naive if you think they haven't had conversations already. They're doing what they did with Sniff.
Any conversation with JUH would be pretty dangerous or sideways I suspect at the moment.

Fortunately I live in Brisbane and don’t hear all the AFL press conferences etc. It still cracks me up when I am in Victoria that unless a heinous crime/event occurs on the TV, AFL takes up the first and last 10 minutes of a half hour show.

Where is the allegation that Cotton On is deliberately making JUH act like a dickhead to get JUH to Geelong?

I cannot seem to find it.

Smith & JUH are good mates, in regular contact. It’s plausible that Smith may have said something to JUH about coming down here. JUH’s family is based in South West. Victoria.

Get into a kid’s head regarding how he should follow his mate, get the kid to warm to the idea and behave erratically in devaluing his currency on the market. Walk to Geelong as his preferred club for nothing more than a packet of chips & can of coke. Then start training the house down and kicking bags of goals as Hawkins replacement on the Cats forward line. And watch the Dogs get slammed through a combination of capacity in player management and player walking. The Dogs won’t get any compensation from the AFL if this scenario plays out.

All speculation with no proof, just theories based on observations & where there’s smoke… there is fire.

I would not put it past Geelong TBH to go after another Dogs player in the calibre of JUH. They would sort him out, get him on the straight and narrow and turn him into a marquee player.

If there is any whiff of this happening, doggies need to get on the front foot and call it out publicly. If they get away with getting a contracted player to breach his contract, then it sets a precedence which the AFL won’t like, either will other clubs. Clubs a lot bigger than sleepy hollow.

Honestly can’t ever remember Smith and JUH hanging out together. Given their penchant for documenting their every fart, if there’s no pictures; it didn’t happen.

Yes, not sure where this has come from. There have been more photos of Jamarra with Bont, Naughty, West and others. Smith didn’t seem to be mates with anyone at the club other than VDM. His social photos were of non-football friends.

Sounds like a load of sh*t (fiction)

Apparently it’s already widely accepted that his only destination left outside of staying at the dogs is Geelong. No other club wants to touch him.

I know the swans have already backed out but last I heard there were still 3 other interstate teams interested. Wether or not he is willing to go interstate is another thing.

It was Reported that Brisbane may not be interested Gold Coast , Fremantle definitely wouldn’t be. So that only leaves the SA clubs and one Wa club

Given you usually get good mail, any idea if his issues are with the club specifically I.e doesn’t want to play for us anymore or just in general not interested to playing at all?
