It’s kind of like when he said, when asked how he was, after the indigenous game in Perth, that he was “never better” , or words to that effect. And yet, here we are. Is it possible to place any credence on his statements?
One would be pretty naive to do so.
Blind freddy can see his talk and walk are polar opposites.

Hopefully this is the final straw for clubs and they take back some of the power from players. The balance is way off and when you have a situation like this the club's hands are effectively tied. If it was a private workplace he would've been shown the door long ago.
If this isn't the ultimate catalyst for change then nothing will be. Logically it should be.

I’d love some compensation for him but I’ve been done with him for weeks and would prefer to see him gone.

Darcy and Naughton are enough and Lobb and Bont can swing forward to help a bit.

Kennedy, Harmes, McNeil and West are all playing career best footy. We have firepower.

A fully fit and focused Jamarra would make us better but there’s a question as to whether that incremental improvement is worth the $900k anyway. It could probably be better spent elsewhere.

He was probably referring to the after game piss up and party as that’s the only thing he went over for

Tbh I think having Darcy, Naughton and Jamarra all demanding upwards of 800k a year would have been concentrating too much salary expenditure into one area. Would have been great to get a first rounder or two in return for Marra though.

I'm not sure we can read a heap into how Jamarra might act in the future. His downfall was arguably so sudden (only since August last year) that the possibility that the penny drops through some of the mental health/Indigenous cultural concerns work resulting in the penny dropping a bit.

he was off the rails way before August.

Had a good chat to Mitch Honeychurch on the weekend and he said Jamarra will be playing for the Dogs again by round 13. Make of that what you will.
