Actually attending appointments is one of the biggest battles for these issues. It's a shit situation all round but I seriously wish him all the best in getting on top of it. Many don't.
This is exactly the way we should all be feeling. Yes it sucks for the club and he has left us high and dry but he is also a guy who still has his whole life ahead of him. There are many going through the same or similar issues to him from all walks of life, luckily for Marra though he has access to the best of the best via the AFL.
He like all other young men and women deserve the right to get themselves in the right direction. Although all actions come with consequences some of which can't be resolved his well being should always be number one priority.

He ain't playing for Dogs again. Leave of absence... pfft....
Knew he didn't want to be with the dogs ages ago.
Here's his actions being polar opposite to his words.
Didn't need to be a rocket scientist to see this writing on the wall.
"No Juh said this" Juh said that" pfffft.
He played everyone.

Please dogs do not trade with the cats. Unless they make up what we should have got for Bailey plus what JUH is worth. That is pick 1 or 2 picks inside 6. They ain't got them and they would probably offer a 3rd rounder.

I think the broader AFL world and its supporters are starting to realise this situation is more severe than they first thought. This isn’t simply mismanagement on the clubs behalf or Marra being unmotivated like they thought.

Interesting update form Tom Morris. The Dogs see this as step in the right direction

It certainly can't be a step in the wrong direction. It gives the club full focus on it's season and it gives Jamarra the real chance to rehabilitate through his troubles without the pressure of going to the club.

The narrative that Jamarra has gamed the club, played us for suckers, seems ridiculous to me.

Sure he's getting his $800k or whatever for nothing, but his next contract for many millions over several years (with us or another club) was the really big one.

That will now not happen, or will be a very small percentage of what it should have been.

He is not a young man controlling the situation, he is out of control.

Sadly, all parties are losers in this situation - most of all him.

i’m glad someone is capable of showing some empathy and compassion amongst the pile on

for all the haters, would you feel the same way if it was your son/daughter facing similar (alleged) issues

Hopefully the Tarryn Thomas incident this week serves as wake up call to Marra.

He hasn't "played" anyone - he has however ****ed his career opportunities massively, as well us moderately.

Under the circumstances, probably the best outcome for both the club and the player.

The club does not need this type of constant distraction. And I really hope he sorts himself out.

Then not much changed from for the dogs other than maybe less distraction from the media when the dust settles on the latest news.
I'd say there is a bit of change.

No traing officially, no club engagements etc ... don't drop in when you feel like it. That's all off the table. He's effectively in exile.

It was simply necessary.

surely no one thinks he’s ****ed us over on purpose? but he still has. like you said there’s no winners in this.

Good riddance. We are on a quest for the holy grail, we are a serious threat. JUH doesn’t have the balls or brain to follow where our boys are going. You take the money you have to sacrifice, simple as that. 50k supporters who the majority dont have the money to support the club BUT they do!. And this pisspot amateur footballer party boy is on big dollars, and trying to play us. Well done to the club for calling his bluff. Lets see how hot a football ticket JUH is after a year on the piss and blow.

I dont care if i get banned for this post or if i come across as a heartless prick. I am FFC and FFC is bigger than all of us.

What did Charlie Clarke do? I missed that conversation. Could someone briefly enlighten me? I thought he was the "Much loved players kids babysitter who lived with Treloar"

Sins of the father - think Jack Watts without the t***ies
