All signs were there months and months ago he was done with the Dogs and wasn't coming back, especially the disrespect he was showing through his actions. Yeah yeah, we were hearing "I heard it straight from his mouth he is staying with the dogs" "I have it on best authority, inside info he's staying put" 😆
People just have lost that ability to see what's in front of their eyes.
Good riddance to the ungrateful turd. Played nearly everyone.
In the nicest way I can say it

So **** yourself

If we allowed players to leave / shipped them out, like Stringer, Dahlhaus, Sniff, etc because of the way they conducted themselves / attitude or whatever, then there is no way in hell we would ever entertain keeping JUH.

JUH will not be on our list next year, it's just a matter of where he goes and how much we can get for him.

Bevo from today's presser

"Just take any speculation in regards to any player with a grain of salt, that's the way we approach it," Beveridge said.

"He's our player.

"We'll do our best to continue to look at what's right for him and look after him. I've got no thoughts that he won't be here next year."

They're extremely different cased though, and whilst all externally and internally are frustrated with Jamarra the vast majority inside the club have got great sympathy for him. Especially now that he has sought out help for himself. I can't see any world where the club don't welcome him back with open arms, provided he stays on his current trajectory.

Yes, they are all unique scenarios. Yes, everyone has sympathy for JUH's circumstances.

If I recall so did B.Smith during his "Recovery". Any action that takes a person 1 second is not a sign of faith to trust.
The only dogs posts from memory
was his handball workout three days before his request

There is no chance we let JUH go this year for anything less than Sydney’s first (pick 5).

If they don’t want to pay that, we back him in for next year and hang up the phone, no hard feelings.

What’s the point trading him for anything less than Sydney’s first rounder this year ?

I get what people are saying about him being at rock bottom value wise but wouldn’t we be better off holding him to he’s contract and hopefully he can up he’s value next season ? No point giving him away for free imo

Exactly. Usually players go down in value when OOC but in this case the value has tanked so low even out of contract should he put any decent amount of games together his value goes up.

Spot on mate , so it Sydney want him they’ll have to pay overs. Otherwise he just stays with the dogs
I've always been adamant I only want the best for Jamarra but IF he did want to go to another team the only way you move him on in contract is at a premium.
Likely any club that entices him to move However will only offer a token pick in which case we hold, we'd still likely get a token 3rd next year worst case.

I think there is potentially a lot to play out here if he wants to play again. There seems to be two polar views from those that claim to know. One is he stays mostly only some supporters or the majority saying he will seek a trade the media and a lot of supporters. So, if either these groups really know it is more likely the latter.

So why this:

The dogs hierarchy do not want him back
The players do not want him back
He believes the club let him down
The dogs have Astro and Sam and do not need another tall forward
He believes he let the club and the players down and has burnt to many bridges and needs a fresh start.

From the outside I do not think the club has done anything wrong and it would be the latter a fresh start.

The dogs have been burn so often in taking unders in trades why would we trade for little with a year to run. However, if as an NGA player and a troubled player his management go the AFL we may be forced into trading for very little.

I think this is a bit black and white when things like cultural considerations, mental health and relationships being founded on emotions are all accounted for. Everyone at the club is human, nobody has ever thought poorly of Jamarra as a human being to his soul (just that they're disappointed on a professional, high-performance level), and everyone is capable of change and making amends and the relationships and actions are always evolving.

Things can be true in the past that are not any more.

Take Bevo's press conferences at the words that are spoken - he is still considered a Bulldog person next year and any trade will be considered on the merit of the trade in a football production sense.

Sydney’s first rounder and JUH’s money to Bont and Darcy would make me happy.

Nicely done by Bevo - if you want him at the end of 25 you will be paying heavily at the trade table.
