If Jamarra kicks 6+ goals in any VFL match, I will eat a succulent Chinese meal at any restaurant of BrisDog's choice in front of anyone who wants to watch.
Exactly. He was never great at VFL level for a number of reasons but IIRC the delivery was appalling and he was double teamed and scragged even as a 1st year player.

Not to mention playing in the mud every 2nd week.

He made his AFL debut off a 7 touch 0.2 goals VFL performance and kicked 21 goals in 11 vfl games - but 11 of those goals came in just 2 games so he had a lot of quiet ones.

Must mean he has gotten or is expecting to get AFL clearance. Wouldn't be coming back into the club otherwise.
From what i've read i thinh he does need AFL DR'S approval and for marra's come back that will be a huge come come back

You need to teach me how to hold your breath like that.

Buku is playing that role well at the moment. Buku is a better kick and on base salary though.

Ugle-Hagan has made clear to Dogs football boss Sam Power and coach Luke Beveridge he is keen to return to the club and has ambitions to quickly play VFL football.

The club is beyond thrilled that Ugle-Hagan is in a state to want to recommit to the club.

He had hauls of 3, 5 and 6 in the VFL though, and that was when he was an unfit first year player coming off a COVID season.

I reckon given a chance he could kick a few bags now. Way more experienced and stronger, even if his fitness will be a bit off.

I'm absulutly rapt in that comment

Great reliable kick young Buku!
Unlike others where I cover my eyes as they’re kicking whilst muttering “oh nooo”
Buku can play as an intercept defender as well. Valuable having a genuine utility in the side that can even chop out in the ruck if we want to keep Darcy forward

Can’t agree here. Buku is a solid kick from all angles around goal. His field kicking and weight of kick is also underrated.
Jamarra’s strength lies more in his mobility and marking but has a fair bit of work to do on his set shots.

Delighted with the news he’s back at the club. Now it’s time to knuckle down and prove how much he wants it.
