Kanes comment about Stengle and how he was made to earn it is interesting.

Stengle joined the Cats in November of 2021 and played 25 games in the 2022 season having debuted in round 1. He was found shit faced in a night club last year from memory then played the next game. This isn’t a shot at Geelong, they’ve managed him very well, I just don’t understand at which point he was made to earn it?

I’m genuinely open to better understanding how so if I’ve missed anything by all means somebody let me know.

Exactly my thoughts. In Kane’s mind Geelong, Hawks and Pies can do nothing wrong. Dogs, Saints and North are the worse organisations ever.

It’s very very tiresome.

I think he means Adelaide booting him from the club for good and had to go back to play state league for a season or two

Nothing sums up the poor quality of AFL journalism more than the past 24-48 hours.

Jamarra returns to the club, a massive step in getting himself right after the last few months. Rather than focusing on that, all of a sudden there is a number of clubs who should be all over him at the end of the season now he’s back aiming to play again.

It’s ****ing putrid they want to clamour for a high-profile trade, rather than focus on him being back in an AFL environment at the club that’s backed him from the start and through a lot of stuff already, and seeing him back where he feels he’d belong.

Baby steps, you ****ing morons. No doubt at least 1 or 2 of you would read this.

Tone down the vitriol please peoples.
Sorry Mutt but enough is enough. The media deserve a serve. There are more of them now than players in the comp and their constant need to find stories and make up shit to justify their existence is tiresome. The failed firefighter’s reaction to JUH returning to the fold is pathetic and deserving of scorn.

There seems to be a very fine line between reporting on a story and making it up.
To be clear, a lot of people in the media are not reporters and their whole purpose is to provide 'opinions'.
It's basically sensationalism and the general public seems to lap it up (unfortunately)

Exactly. We could have put JUH through the wringer and then again and again and it still wouldn't be enough. It never is and you're right, it's boring.

This is the same footy media that urges us (and rightly so) to look after our mental health and that of our loved ones and mates.

The same footy media that hocks players around, desperate for them to leave clubs and usually go to 'big' clubs 365 days a year all for stories, all for clicks.

So the next time you hear media talk about mental health just realise their actions speak louder than words.

Nothing more predictable than the BF rage and handwringing on Clickbait Tuesday.

Do your blood pressure a favour and tune out until later in the week.

I've been thinking ,....

The club invested a lot in Marra. As an NGA player, they met with him & invested in his future long before he was drafted. The playing group went down to the South West & to Framlingham. They met his people and heard his history. Despite his private school year 12, he's not your standard draftee. There was no silver spoon where he was born.

I think they'll cut him some slack . Can't keep cutting it forever , but I'm sure plenty in the club are rapt he's back.

I'm sitting on a massive multi-quote post for his first game back. Marra is going to Kruschev it to you Berias
And I’m sure someone has the same thing for when he requests a trade for 2026 or is booted Stringer style

I hope he makes it back but it’s a long road and I’d be furious if backing him in cost us the Bont

I think Kane is the guy in the race that his teammates were looking at thinking the things he said about Juh
