Look it's not ideal for a guy with his recent history to be out at the morons hour of 2:25 in the am.

A time when nothing good ever happens.

Nor is it that apparently his first instinct wasn't to call it a night, but to go back inside and continue on with whatever he was doing. For how long I know not.

But lets not gloss over this not insignificant detail in Morris' story as we rush to judgement and summary execution.

Tom Morris: "It is believed Ugle-Hagan...wasn't physically involved in the scuffle and that he walked back into the venue following the shooting incident."

As somebody who worked in the nightclub industry during my Uni days.

Unless things have drastically changed. Nightclubs tend not to let those or their friends involved in a scuffle back inside.

Especially if firearm is discharged in the incident.

I actually think the firearm situation is completely irrelevant. You've touched on it so I'm not saying you've not addressed it but we played a game of football only 14 hours after he was at the night club.

Given the year he's had, the fact that he was even out is a sackable offence. Sure - from a legal point of view he should be fine, but those who defend him (of which I'm one) are becoming fewer and fewer and the patience is well and truly fading away.

That one kick was a goal though!

My memory of that game is Chris Grant turning back the clock, and also turning Glen Archer inside out, to kick one of his greatest ever goals.

Also wasn't Tim Walsh's father involved with NM at the time?

Whether or not the bereavement and illness stories are genuine or a smokescreen. Its been obvious for weeks now that the club has parked him for the remainder of the season.

Whether or not thats for good remains too be seen.

But this latest incident is not helpful in regards to any future return to the game that he might have. Be it at the dogs or elsewhere.

His career would be hanging by a thread.

Could he have been just trying to sell his car at that time? I know he is a wannabe gangster. Maybe someone should give him the book on Aaron Hernandez or give him Tarryn Thomas's number.

The players must be absolutely sick of this circus. In the run up to the biggest game since the last one he derailed as well.
Knowing that this was always a possibility I think we've managed it well to not let it be a distraction up to this point. It's not good on a personal level but many of the players would have even forgotten he was a teammate in a way, given how rarely he's trained with them.
