No chance JUH will make a late run for selection in the GF on Saturday?
I don’t see why we don’t whack him in the forward pocket at least. It would bring extra media attention to the game and increase the crowd.

He is a natural player anyway, probably only needs to get through a training session in the ‘Captains Run’ on Friday.

Imagine having JUH with the ball in his hands in the red, white & blue, down by 5 points, siren sounds….

Based on playing ability Ugle Hagen is ridiculously under rated on here, comparing him to Croft who couldn't get near it in a vfl game yesterday. Accuracy was the only thing stopping Ugle Hagen kicking 50 plus in 23 and 24, who knows what he could have been capable of this year.
Say what you will about Jamarra but he’s a generational talent.

It’s easier for people to accept him not playing for us again (possibly) if they downplay his ability.

I disagree, it's incredibly painful to see his talent probably ending up unfulfilled. The club set him up for an enormous AFL career. He could have been the next player to kick 1000 goals he has that much talent, but he has pi$$sed the opportunity up the wall.

We gave up our entire draft hand that year to get him. We helped him through boarding school at Scotch. We didn't throw him into the team when he wasn't ready.

He's going to be out of the AFL system soon and we've invested an enormous amount time, energy, resources and dollars on the kid for not much return.

Then out on the full cause he had 2 hours sleep from the big Saturday night he had..... 😉

Absolutely not. Hasn't been training and putting in the hard yards with the rest of the boys for a few months and now strolls in to take someone's spot in a GF?

Already will have to drop someone like Kellett which will be a real shame (with Duryea coming back in), imagine a Lewis, Craig-Peters or Crofts coming out so Jamarra can slide his way in for a GF... Would send an awful message.

Jesus, I was having a laugh. I am not a fan. The sooner he is gone the better our club will be. I just hope we do not have to pay him out the full quid

lol mate he’s not even training with them!
Pretty sure he’d be ineligible anyway. In the absence of meeting the full number of games for eligibility, I think you still need to have played at least 1 VFL game and have not played AFL after June (like Treloar).

Not too fussed about the draft hand we have up for him. That year was an absolute garbage draft anyway and doubt the picks we could have used if not matching him would have amounted to anything anyway.

Haha fair enough, very difficult to pick up sarcasm on a forum and looked like a genuine enough post that some people would actually be in favour of.

A nothing article that tells us nothing new.
The news cycle for the next month will be painful.

Have to imagine things will go pretty quick after the VFL is finished though.

The only useful part of that article is that Jamarra very deliberately hasn’t had his exit interview yet but it probably happens next week.

Maybe they don’t want the inevitable media storm to overshadow the VFL team.

I don’t know what is talked about in the exit interviews but I imagine they would ordinarily discuss the player’s progress, significant contributions to the team, attitude, commitment, and prospects for the future. What possible comments could the coaches make about any of these this season about Jamarra?

Might be a quick interview.

His management are in talks with one of the 4 remaining finalists.

It's why discussion around his future have been so quiet and haven't leaked out into the public domain.

Until now.
