Herald Scum headline at 12:30pm but take it with a grain of salt.
Jamarra looking for new home after exit meeting
An exit interview has confirmed JUH future will not be at the Bulldogs, with the ...{player's}... camp desperate for a ‘redemption story’ at another club.

Didn't the saints look at him seriously only a season ago and decided against it, would have thought he's gotten worse if anything.
His price has changed considerably in 12 months. If it's a free hit they might back themselves in to turn him around.

Has JUH ticked off all the boxes required by the AFL? Does anyone know?

Not that it will make a difference as AFL will look after its brand.

Either way we will get bugger all for him (Academy investment and a number one pick) and risk he comes good at some stage for another club.

We're not cutting up his contract and delisting him but we'd trade him if he got an offer?
Connors may be playing hardball with us, making it extremely unattractive financially for us to delist and pay JUH out or to reach a commercial settlement. The only leverage we have is the current contract we have with JUH, which, unfortunately, is also an albatross around our necks. Tough, tough spot for the club if the AFL won't let us pursue our option to terminate his contract for non-performance.

Our recent dealings with Connors is making me think we need to begin factoring it in to our draft decisions. If choosing between a Connors or non-Connors player, I'd hope we strongly lean towards the latter at this point

I wonder what would happen if he came back to us, but we had a repeat of this season I.e. he didn't rock up to work ?
At what point would we be allowed to say 'enough is enough' ?

That seems to be entirely up to the AFL.

He may well be traded but surely after the media circus this year we’d be seeing wall to wall coverage if the club had said in some definitive way that he’s out.

No problem with getting rid of him. Just like to know the reason, was it because

his behavior has burnt to many bridges and relationships
or
They believe he can never change his behavior
or
They believe he may improve his behavior but never be able to meet the demands of AFL football

or
He is just to big risk of continued disruption to the club

There is probably a 1 percent chance we are making the wrong decision.

Situation is what it is but it’s getting annoying losing so much talent. It just doesn’t happen to the top clubs as much

It sucks, but it is was it is and we need to be a bit smarter and more ruthless too.

Smith leaving I could see a mile away, it was obvious his manager was leaking to the press that he wanted to leave that year earlier. Hawks and Geelong were both keen by the sound of it and it's a shame we didn't pull the trigger. Watson or O'Sullivan would have been good for us if we had one those picks. Dunkley was almost an impossible situation, so I have no issue there. Jamarra we tried to do something earlier by the sound of it, unfortunately that didn't work out. Pretty tough call, but if the situation was as bad as it was when we made the final then maybe we had to do something as ruthless as getting rid of Jamarra even if we got serious unders for him. That would be a very ruthless decision, but I think as a club we need to be more ruthless if we want to be more successful.
