The Saints are renowned for their outstanding number of "Jack's" in their team, having added another this trade period in Jack Steele, bringing their tally to 6.

However, in this trade period the Suns have increased their tally of Jarrad's/Jarrod's/Jarryd's from 3 to 5, bringing us almighty close to matching it with the Saints!

Current Jarrad's/Jarrod's/Jarryd's (4)
Jarrad Grant (2016 - present)
Jarrod Harbrow (2011 - present)
Jarrod Witts (2016 - present)
Jarryd Lyons (2016 - present)

Past Jarrad's/Jarrod's/Jarryd's/Jarred's/Jared's (3)
Jared Brennan (2011-2013)
Jarred Ellis (2014 - 2015)
Jarrod Garlett (2015 - 2016)

I propose we use this thread to track the development and additions of future Jarrad's/Jarrod's/Jarryd's to our team.

The question now becomes, do we draft Jarrod Berry to match the Saints in "total number of players with same name in team?" I vote yes.

God for someone who thinks he knows 95% of the footballers in the league I have no idea who Jarred Ellis is. And he was on my own team!
to be fair, he was on the rookie list. can't even remember if he managed to get a game.

i also know of him as when he wasn't in the team (every week) he'd often sit with his family for home games, which is near where I sit. not many people recognised him haha.

Jarryd Hayne and Jarrod Wallace with the Titans?

Side note - looking at Harbrow and Witts got me thinking. Are the Suns the only team in the AFL to have at least one player from every state as well as an Irishman on their list?

QLD - Harbrow, Thompson etc.
NSW - Davis, Witts
VIC - Ablett, Lynch etc.
SA - Day, Lemmens etc.
WA - Ah Chee, Matera etc.
TAS - Lonergan, Hall etc.
NT - May
IRE - Hanley

Just missing a player from the ACT but that probably won't change any time soon considering it is a part of GWS's zone.
