Darling actually got some good looks in the last quarter when Kennedy was missing. Sure he stuffed up another easy goal on a slight angle, but he kicked one and set up one to Mitchell, plus had the ball on the siren (he kicked it actually after the siren when it didn't matter, naturally). Being given more responsibility as a forward might be a way to snap him out of these half performances.

At least it wasn't his achilles
That would've been close to curtains (the achilles) I feel.

Deadset, I probably would've shed a tear

Yeh, would have been devo, AFL website is saying he heard a pop. I reckon it could still be a 2 month injury.
A pop?

Yeah, he's out for a while.

**** sake. I blame his 2017 sponsor, a prick of a man.

Fortunately not Achilles it seems but still a significant calf injury you'd think

Gov forward as a stop gap for the Suns ahead of some serious brainstorming over the bye week to devise a functional forward structure in JK's absence

Might mean we actually have to have some kind of ******* forward structure nowadays and force the midfielders to kick to someone who isn't a triple teamed Kennedy. Still sore about this as it's happened all bloody year.
Fair point

Is this the Kennedy version of it will help our midfield to learn to play without Nic Nat? Because I don't reckon it's helped our midfield that much.

Darling played his best when JK was out in 2012...just saying. We have more options this this time too.

Gov up front with Emac and Barrass as options to replace him.

Darling and Mcinnes combo.

Petrie/vardy and a returning Lycett are capable up front.

Bring in Lamb and see what he can do.

JK is awesome but we seriously rely in him way to much so now is a good time to look to the future. Might also get the mids to work harder at impacting the scoreboard.
