Considering how apparently you rate Tippett as a spud, surely Butcher needs to be tracking better than 1.0 to 0.9 against Tippett

It's all downhill from here though as far as stats comparisons go as Tippett's form improves from his first few games rather the retrograding improvement of Spud Butcher

The fact that Butcher is performing better than the big Spud at the same stages of their careers is sufficient enough.

Lets not overlook that Tippett was also a very late convert to football. Considering Butcher's had so much more time in the system than Tippett did at 21, Butcher at the same age should be miles in front, but isnt
