Considering how apparently you rate Tippett as a spud, surely Butcher needs to be tracking better than 1.0 to 0.9 against Tippett

It's all downhill from here though as far as stats comparisons go as Tippett's form improves from his first few games rather the retrograding improvement of Spud Butcher

The fact that Butcher is performing better than the big Spud at the same stages of their careers is sufficient enough.

Lets not overlook that Tippett was also a very late convert to football. Considering Butcher's had so much more time in the system than Tippett did at 21, Butcher at the same age should be miles in front, but isnt :D

Are we still watching? Because Butcher would rank 2nd at the Crows for contested marks per game this year :thumbsu: I couldn't see Tippett's name on the Crows stats sheet though, I wonder why that is...

But but but butchers a spud, there's no way he'd basically be leading the crows for contested marks.

Not possible, I refuse to believe it.

Think it says something about us more than it says anything about Butched's ability

Well, you shouldn't believe it because he's averaging less contested marks than Taylor Walker and has taken less total contested marks this year than all of Jenkins, Lynch, Thompson, Dangerfield, Porplyzia, Sloane, Jacobs, Otten, Henderson, Talia, McKernan and Rutten.

What the heck are you talking about anyway?

The Dictator thread really worked out well for you guys :thumbsu:

So are we just forgetting that ever happened and moving onto another Port forward? No doubt you'll end up looking like royal asses again ;)

Oh my mistake, so only one crow is averaging more contested marks than spud butcher?

How embarrassement!

That is true. You make a lot of mistakes. I hate to break it to you, but it is because you are quite severely, shall we say, "challenged" in more ways than one.

True. You are an embarrassement (sic). At least you're honest. :thumbsu:

Ah poor sekaj, struggling so reverts to playing the man.

The fact you arn't talking football says a lot.

The Crows are shit aren't they?

Coming from a welching parrot. Epic facepalm

Actually Walker, Jenkins, McKernan and Lynch are now all averaging more contested marks per game than Spud Butcher.

Also, you might like to know that Spud Butcher has managed 0 contested marks in 3 out of his last 4 games.

How embarrassement!

Indeed. :thumbsu:

Zero ? Nil? Nada? Nuthin'? Nought? A big fat donut ?

You're KIDDING me !
Not a one ?

But ...but ,...his pressure acts are outstanding ...chasing is outstanding ..can't catch them to tackle, but apparently chasing ..well..nobody does it better than Johnny Spudman.

Nah, he's taken a few contested marks this year.

You must be thinking of Lewis Johnston. 5 years on an AFL list, not one contested mark. What an embarrassment

Since the Bay needs more Port threads........

Ask any PAPSter and they'll tell you John "The Future" Butcher (taken at #8 in the 2009 draft) is the answer to Poort Power's forward line woes for the next decade. With recycled journeyman Jay Schulz the wrong side of 26, and "Clutch" Westhoff only getting up for two games a year, Poort's future really does rest with this Power Forward with all the tools.

So after five matches this season, how many contested marks would you expect a player such as The Future to clunk as the main forward? 2 per game? 1 per game?

So was 2 a game the pass mark? Good to see Butcher meeting your high expectations........ if only your mob would do the same :$

It's a little concerning when Butcher would have been top 10 in contested marks for the Crows in 2015............ off 5 games.
