Joker hands down is one of the best movies ever made and sadly it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. It gets better every time you watch it. I strongly believe everyone should be encouraged to watch it as it is possibly the best depiction of someone spiraling into mental illness you will ever see in the cinema.

Movie web aren’t really the most reputable source and it took until the last sentence of that article to cite their source (the Mirror). Whilst the sequel rumours have bubbled away since its box office performance, a trilogy is overkill and quite unlikely imo.

It’s certainly worth persisting beyond the first ten minutes. A slow burn and descent into an excellent final act.

Watched it again recently via amazon prime, Phoenix’s performance and the score once again are the standouts. Stays with you for a while after finishing the film.
