I am merely wishing to know why it is there are so many threads on this Fremantle Board discussing the West Coast Eagles Football Club and/or its supporters.

Is it really that surprising that there are a lot of threads involving the eagles considering we are still in the aftermath stage of one of the most eventful derbies ever? I think you'll find there weren't any threads on here about west coast after all our other games this year.

As for your board being Freo free:

a) you lost, so naturally supporters tend to put the games they lose behind them and start looking forward. Besides your supporters have done most of their whinging about Carr and co on the main board or on here. Which brings me to point b:

b) our board tends to be the home of most of the derby talk and banter between the 2 supporter groups because our mods are a lot more relaxed than yours when it comes to opposition supporters.

If you look at the title of this thread it is "The Josh Carr Delusion".

Both these 2 threads are in response to your fellow supporters writing into the paper complaining about Freo/Josh Carr. We posted it on our board for our own supporters to comment on what was said about us/FFC/Josh Carr... How many threads did you start up about Headland...

That's the fall back position of the stereotypical Dockerland fan that you apparently don't want to be labelled as. Everything is West Coast's fault, or the AFL's fault, or the West's fault. 'We only talk about them coz they started it etc.' Here's a thought, if our fans are so stupid and horrible, why not just ignore the crap they come up with on talk back radio and post threads about Freo instead? Seems logical to me. I don't pay any attention to what our stupid fans say on 6PR, and I support West Coast.

I didn't start any threads about Des Headland. Had I chosen to, I would not have posted a thread about what Freo fans thought of the incident, let alone on the WC Board.

I think you are slightly missing my point. It's not about this board being WC free or ours being Freo free. Ours will be talking about the Roos this week, it's only natural. I am curious as to why there are so many threads talking about our fans. I'd much rather talk about how to stop Corey Jones or Brent Harvey kicking bags than about what the Roos fans are doing.

Also, with regards to a) we tend to have a lot of threads on what went wrong, what went right and potential changes following losses.

Make no mistake, the early eagles teams set the standard for roughhouse derbies when they (understandably) exploited their edge in toughness to unsettle our young lineup. We're just enjoying the irony that their supporters can't handle their own medicine now the tables have turned.

Well it's not often in the AFL that fans throw objects at players and get evicted for trying to assault them as they are walking down the race.

It's even been mentioned on nationwide shows like On The Couch. I'd say it's a valid talking point.

I posted this thread, i have heard nothing but b.tching and moaning from many an eagles supporter over the last two days talking about one of our best players. and a great win. i think its fitting we can talk about the BS, because the hypocricy of the situation demands it. and dont try and come off as if you being an eagles supporter cops crap, you want to know about copping abuse, sit in a freo supporters seat.

Later in the match, Josh had a bottle and a pie thrown at him, while one supporter had an altercation with Jeff Farmer, who we all know has his own set of problems, however Farmer did not start this problem. The act from the eagles supporters was both cowardly and Hypocritical, the culprits should be banned. THE ACT WAS WRONG!

What's the half-time discussion going during next weeks game? 'Great half, a 10 goal lead really sets us up', 'Isn't Pav on fire, 5 in a half', or 'about those Eagles supporters on 6PR this morning'? I pick (c).

Have a look at the West Coast Board. The top threads are discussing the probability of our club trading for Brendan Fevola, the Braun/EPO issue, Sunday's game, next Sunday's game and the general form of our players, whereas here there are 2 threads that have 'Eagles supporters' in the title, and at least another 3 where Eagles supporters are one of if not the main topic of discussion.

We get that you don't like us. We understand why you don't like us. We also don't care. Fremantle fans (and I state some, not all, there are some good Freo supporters and even posters on here) and their petulant hatred of all things WC are insignificant to the overwhelming majority of WC supporters.

I pose a straightforward question to you. If you dislike us so much, why are there so many threads discussing us on your Board?

Ok, I think i want to dispell some myths about the great player that is josh carr, particularly after the weekends events.

On the Weekend Josh played a vast majority of the game on Daniel Kerr, a convicted off the field thug, and shady character, we have all heard the audio tape, Josh proceeded niggle and get into Kerr's ear, which Kerr Publicly stated in the news that he enjoyed. NOTHING WRONG DONE!

^josh carr is a gun footballer.

and that is part of the reason i really like the way kerr goes about his footy, and why i think cousins is a noob.
